It's like entering another Era, another time. A filed forest with springs and waters with calming sounds!
Try to get there in daytime.

The village Steni is on the island of Evia, near Athens. The place is very beautiful and easy and nice for the children. The forest is near the village and it's gorgeous for families and couples also.

This area is ideal for walking. Even in summer the temperatures were not to high. You have many walking options in beautiful landscapes.

this is a great place of unspoiled natural beauty. This mountain range is the highest on the island, has great mountain villages, interesting hiking trails, a few ancient sites and some interesting caves.

Magnificent view but if snowy, you cant really enter the paths. Along the way you can find trees and many photo chances

About 10 minutes driving uphill from Steni village, is the mountain forest of Steni. A truly remarkable place to visit, with chestnut trees, firs and cedars. Small paths begin next to the road, which you can follow into the forest. You can also ask for directions at the inns in Steni village before you visit.
