A truly lovely and worthwhile experience. Both George and Roque excelled as instructors with easy caring leadership which made the kayaking a pleasure and safe.
So if you want a morning of expert kayak tuition while exploring the beautiful rocky coastline and at the same time learn more about the history of the area then here it is.
Lunch was a greek salad ‘unpacked’!..delicious, with a nifty tip of combining olive oil and fresh oregano.

I went on a 7-day seakayaking trip in the West Pelopenes with Giorgos and Giorgos som guides. It was an amazing trip extremly well organized to the last detail. Off course the paddling was great, with nice warm weather, warm turquise sea and splendid nature. But what made the trip so special, is the guiding of these to guys. They are both highly skilled paddlers, have the aibility to see one and other and make you feel save and welkom. They will always put your needs first and they are extremly service-minded. The team working behind the scenes made a great effort in cooking and organizing, so we had delicious fresh local meals every day. Hard working, passionate team with a genuin love for kayaking and guiding. Highly recommended!

Unmissable, fantastic kayaking experience. Four unforgettable hours that allowed us to closely examine the Castle of Methoni and then cross that strip of sea to the island of Sapienza and enter one of its suggestive caves and dive near a small beach where George, our guide of the Explore Messina Team also offered us a genuine brunch of local products. George was a great instructor and a fantastic, friendly, engaging guide. This excursion is an excellent and easy alternative if you want to combine sea, activity and a bit of adventure. An experience that I absolutely recommend. Suitable for everyone.

Thank you Fabiola ideed the Sea kayaking in Methoni is a bit more challenging than the rest of our kayak trips but for sure rewarding. Paddling around the medieval castle and to the island of Sapienza is one of a lifetime experiences :)

We booked with explore Messinia a kayak day for our family. Everything was superbly planned and Trifonas our guide was excellent. The equipment was top notch and we always felt safe with him and enjoyed all the activities he had planned. The pic-nic was also a very pleasant surprise

We did the SUP and Snorkeling in Voidokilia beach and had an amazing time. Our guide Roque was a great teacher and very knowledgeable - both about paddleboarding as well as sharing information & history about the area. The beach is absolutely amazing with warm clear water that makes it fun for snorkeling - I loved watching little fish swimming around. The lunch was delicious and fresh. I have no complaints - we had a great day and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

As two mature women we loved the experience of kayaking for the first time with an excellent guide Giorgos who was friendly, patient and a great teacher. His pace was perfect and we felt safe, learned a lot and had fun. The lunch he brought along was delicious and perfect as we tasted local products and sat on a lovely secret beach. The bay round Kalamitsi was as always beautiful but kayaking there was very special and we so enjoyed the company of Giorgos. It was a beautiful day.

Amazing trip, beautiful bay and region. Get to see views you wouldn't be able to otherwise. Roque was great as our guide, really friendly. Excellent introduction to sea kayaking would highly recommend. Wear sunscreen, you are exposed for 4+ hours!

This experience is absolutely worth the make! Beautiful see, beautiful rocks, sports, a unique program and all together a wonderful day. Our family truly enjoyed the day. Fotis is a great and fully guide and he was also flexible to fulfill our extra wishes. We would do it any time again and suggest all people traveling around Peloponnes to try out See Kayaking.

Sea kayak is the ideal summer activity, especially at a place so striking! And with the smooth guidance of Fotis and George we had the best time! They shared a lot of interesting stories about the places we saw and many tips for moving more efficiently on the water with the kayaks. The views were beautiful with crystal clear water, little islands and the long sandy beach of Gialova. I felt very calm and refreshed and I am sure I will book another tour very soon. I highly recommend it!

It is a fact that your daughter is really young so there are some important factors if you all want to paddle together!
The good weather conditions is number one, usually they are good but in your case they should be very good.
Then you should join a tour which is coastal and does not include crossings to islands, because it is safer and can be easily adjusted to our needs.
Now depending on her size she could join you in the front sit of a double kayak and enjoy together, the other way is to be herself in the front sit with a parent or the guide being at the back.
We suggest you making a reservation for a tour in Kalamata or Kardamili and leave one day before and after available until we find the best weather conditions with the help of the forecasts. We will contact you and define the final date.

I have never been kayaking. Is it safe to go there? Would it be a trip with guide and good equipment, I mean one of my children (8 year old) doesn't swim well and can we have life jackets?

A sea kayaking tour is absolutely safe. All of our excursions are guided and designed to be safe, easy and suitable for all. There is no need for someone to have prior experience in order to participate. Your 8 years old child can also participate and I am sure he/she will be very excited. Our equipment is brand new and a life jacket is obligatory. You can also take advantage of our family offer where there is a half price discount for children.
