This was an amazing museum with up to date technology where you could use a tablet whilst walking around to give you information and different views of each costume in our own language. There were three levels of costumes and jewellery, displayed in climate controlled cabinets. It really was stunning to see such a collection and made our visit to Kalamata special. Thank you to the staff who were welcoming and gave lots more information and answered questions knowledgeable.

This is an excellent museum. The team is very knowledgeable AND friendly. They took time to explain the museum, answer questions and get to know a bit about us. The museum itself is put together beautifully. Exhibits are excellent and exquisite. The tablets with information on each costume bring another level of the experience which was of the highest value. Highly recommended!!

This is a museum that would rival or better any in London for the quality of the display and the way to understand what was on display via touch screen displays. Really should be picked up by bigger institutions. The clothes are beautiful and display the evolution of Greek costume as well are regional variations. The staff were hugely informative and were rightly proud of where they are working. This is a private collection and I just wish I could see more. One warning, the entrance door is locked and you need to ring the bell!

A wonderful collection presented in a modern informative manner; the touch screen information was excellent. The costumes are in fantastic condition and beautifully displayed. The staff were really helpful and enthusiastic which is always a plus. If you have an interest in traditional costumes or in Greece and Greek history then I think this is a must see site in Kalamata.
