This museum in downtown Rajshahi has a great collection of statuary. Unfortunately, there are so many pieces of great quality with so little explanation that you can be easily overwhelmed. Nonetheless, it is a great museum with lovely gardens outside. Of note, no photographs allowed.

Indeed this place is one of the best museum of Asia. A well kept place, lot of valuable and historical artifacts. One can learn history of ancestors how they used to live here before thousand years. This place is well located just at the heart of Rajshahi city.

Rajshahi visit for the professional purpose was made worth full to see Barind museum and the land cover changes in Barind tract. It is founded in 1910 with the support of the maharaja of Dighapatia, it is managed by Rajshahi University and is the oldest museum in the country.

The biggest asset of the museum is the statue of God Surya as no other museum has this big number of different type and size. The building is been built by some philanthropists to [reserve the historical findings of the area on 1900 s .A huge collection of sand stone sculpture and coins many could not be displayed because of gallery space said by the director .A must see place at Rajshahi
