The trails are well maintained and relatively easy to hike. Falls, canyon and wild life present at various places along the trails. Located only 20 mins from Saguenay, it's worth a visit when in town.

Our rental car option fell through so we took a taxi here and I am SOOO glad we did. Our objective was to see fall colors and we did. Absolutely stunning. The trail is well marked by color and image but the km markings are not clear all the time. We started on the blue trail along the river to the waterfall and then went to the yellow trail inland which is where we had the most color and variety, including a marsh. This was a fantastic walk which I will always remember. You can get a taxi for $32 from the cruise port and I advise to arrange for a return time since it is out in the boonies. Three hours was plenty of time. There is a small shop and bathroom across the street from the trail head. It looks like this would be a great place for cross country skiing and snowshoe as there was a warming hutch where trails merged.

The easiest path, 3.7 km with a well-marked path and lots of stairs, provides wonderful views of waterfalls and rapids. Count on spending 2 hours.

L 1We walked the Canyon Trail (2.7 km) and then were fortunate to go on the tour to see some bears where we saw 3 from an enclosed viewing platform. The guides were informative and hospitable. So lucky. A must for those in the Baie area.

This privately owned and maintained parc of hiking trails is simply fabulous. We did several trails while there and the view sof the gorge, maintainance of the paths and singage were excellent and rivalled anything SEPAQ has to offer. WELL worth a detour and visit.
