Magic Dancing Waters is a spectacular combination of dancing waters, laser show, volcano eruptions, fire and smoke show. Experience an imaginative performance and be surprised and impressed watching the water dancing to the rhythm of the music, whirling up to 12 meters high or making amazing pirouettes. The music, the water, the lava, the laser, the fire and smoke comprise a unique and spectacular experience only here at Magic Dancing Waters. For the first time ever, a place where you can have dinner or drink watching the Magic Dancing Waters. A truly spectacular show with waters dancing to the music. Also a more modern style to feast your eyes with glorious colorful lights and music. An expanse of 2.000 sq. meters in the heart of Protaras in the famous MAGIC DANCING WATERS (next to McDonald's in Protaras). With an impressive technical support the crew of the Magic Dancing Waters are proud to be a part of the biggest system in the world: 19.400 nozzles, 480 spot lights, 162 powerful water pumps, 4 gear motors, 4 state of the art computer systems, 5 smoke systems, 10 Gigantic Fire Ball Systems, 8 Full Color Laser systems.

Absolutely amazing show! Stunning laser show animations with story telling, volcano real fire eruptions you can fill the heat too and from the water you can feel the drizzle if its windy sit in the 3rd row and up avoid the 1,2 only if its windy you might get a bit wet.
But the whole dancing waters concept is spectacular companied with great music! You just travel in a one hour magical show outside of the reality! All family members and friends loved it! Will be back for sure. Ps: there is a GREAT dinner option with many kind of foods in an international buffet and great signature cocktails too! We loved it!

Last time I visited protaras in 2016, me and my partner both visited here and enjoyed it.
We now have a 2 and 4 year old, we also went with another couple with a 1 year old.

We decided to take the kids, we all enjoyed it, great price and a stunning show to watch! It’s a must

The show was very beautiful. Very spectacular and we had a great time. We sat in the 2nd row from the front and we got absolutely drenched. At first it started with a slight drizzle but eventually it was like we have just come out of the shower. We left completely soaking wet and most people from front and second row moved seats. Ruined it but the finale was very nice. Overall nice show and would recommend but definitely sit as far back as you can.

Absolutely not worth the money.
Same pattern through the whole show with different colours.
10-15 min vaste of time looking at 5 volcanoes with to high Musik.

Really boring especially if you have seen show e.g in Dubai.

Seats are made of iron and not comfortable. Show start at
9 pm and you have to be there 1 hour befor, to ensure your reservation.
Actually you wait longer time than show is.

Really nice show for whole family. I can say that also my small son (almost 2yrs) really enjoyed but lasers are to much for small ones.
If you want to spend some nice evening in Protaras, you can start with nice diner around and than on show.
You can find drinks there, but be aware they arent offering food bce covid restriction.

The best advice I can give is to avoid booking this evening show through Thomson. We made the mistake and what transpired really put a dampener on the experience. We booked two tickets online through Thomson and believed that we had selected the dinner and show option because the description said "food included". I did spent out nearly £80 so expected this to be the case. The paper work was emailed through to me and mentioned nothing about it being a ticket only. Turned up to be told that we had entry to show only. I was rather infuriated. Luckily the man at the entrance was more than happy to am end Thomson's mistake, which shouldn't have been down to the venue. We were MISOLD this experience. I have seen several similar complaints. It is not good enough Thomson!!! Don't out money in their pocket for below average service and "appalling paperwork" as quoted from the guy that worked so hard to rectify all the wrongdoing!!! It transpired that we were given the dinner and show tickets but this is only because if amazing Cypriot hospitality!!! The staff dealing with the complaint were amazing and couldn't do more to help!!! This was a saving grace. The gentleman really was understanding to our plight!!! I would highly recommend just picking up tickets at the venue!!! Much less hassle and a second to nine service that rivals anything so have experienced in the UK & other parts of Europe.

So firstly a big thumbs up to the staff at Dancing Waters. They are obviously very people orientated and their table service was impeccable- high quality and efficient! A big plus point. They definitely added to the experience in a very positive way. I really want to thank them for all their efforts.

Now on to the show itself... Quite simply MAJESTIC!!! I have never experienced anything like it before! State of the art Pyrotechnics! The "volcano" was incredible. The show made me "oooooohhhh!" out loud which is high praise indeed. The timings were perfect and the soundtrack was very enjoyable. It was able to be appealing to all types of audience!!! The laser light show aspect was surprising and had me engaged and excited. The length of the show was great in comparison to the €26 price tag. It is honestly worth it. May seem steep on paper but it is the best evening experience I have ever had the pleasure of being involved in. So much variation. The show was multi sensory and brilliantly eccentric. I was never bored and was so sad that it ended after an hour and a bit!!! I would have happily sat and watched it ALL evening!!! Don't want to give too much away but my favourite number was "The Final Countdown"!!!- inspired!!!!

Aside from the keffufel I have nothing but high praise for this excursion and recommend it to everyone staying in Protarus. It was a short walk from our hotel. I would recommend sitting on the raised level about 3 rows back. You can see everything with no obstruction. Little kids were running around right at the front so it was nice to be further back.

The buffet dining was very good. Very similar to our own hotel fining which I enjoyed. So no complaints. Good variation in meat dishes. It was lovely to be able to eat and drink whilst experiencing the show. Amazing table service. Again I will sing the staffs praises. They were efficient and friendly. Drinks a little on the expensive side from bar!!!

I was absolutely absorbed by it and really on board with it as an entertainment concept. I have never seen this type of show on such a vast scale. Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! I took loads of photos but they honestly don't do it the justice it deserves!!! Go and watch it and be amazed. As I said- just don't book it through Thomsons as their part of service really really let us down. But the evening could not be tainted because everything at Dancing Waters made up for it- and some!!!!

Really quirky experience. Could imagine the light show part may not be suitable for epileptics.
I was left feeling on top of the world. Told everyone about it and they loved my videos!!!

Went to the Magic Dancing Waters with my family.
Upon purchasing our tickets and paying 10.00 euros for adults and 7.00 euros for the children....we proceed to enter at the gate, when we asked where would would be for dinner , we were informed that we require an extra ticket for the meal, we went back to the cashier only to be charged an extra 10.00 euros for adults and 7.00 euros for the children.
The food was absolutely horrid, it reminded me of a soup kitchen or jail!! The food was just slapped onto these trolley type tables:
the salads were all sauce type (i.e. russian salad with mayonaise, beetroot with mayonaise, tuna with mayonaise ) the ONLY vegetable type was slices of tomatoes & cucumbers in a tray that had oregano poured all over them!
Main dishes: were various vegetables in a tomato sauce that looked like vomit, spare ribs with a spicy sauce, some type of chicken dish with fresh cream, dry roast beef with a touch of clumpy gravy poured over, small sausages that looked like dog food, the rice and baked potatoes were the only dishes that seemed safe. Note: that None of the dishes were labelled and hardly any choice for children, and for dessert the choice was watermelon that was half red and half white as watermelon are coming out of season, melon and a caramel cream that looked horrid. Since there was no one there serving the food guests were just literally attacking the buffet to get their meal, dropping spoons and laddels and then putting them back into the food.
Bear in mind guests were cramped in a little shed type area that was supposed to be the buffet area, so you can imagine a lot of pushing and shoving..... food on display was not enough for the amount of tables seated. People cued for the longest time, while waiting for the replenishment of the buffet, hot dishes were not kept warm, my biggest concern was the chicken dish with fresh cream( have these people heard of salmonella)
Also to add insult to injury, after paying the amount we paid for entrance fees and dinner, the drinks were at an extra charge!
I could not bring myself to actually eat the food I put in my plate and pushed it off to the side at our table as did the rest of my family, (we all left hungry ) after the meal the waiters did not even bother picking up the plates, they were left there through out the entire show. There was no announcement saying the show will begin in 5-10 minutes, for those who were still having their meal ( as lights go completely off, and you are eating in the Dark!) or for those needing to use the loo before the show (which ws over and hour and a half). Although the show was interesting there was no presenter or announcer there, the show just began and we sat there, the music was quite loud, and to be honest after being put through what we were put through, we just couldn't enjoy the show.
There was no one after the show to say a few words, something about the program. I just felt like they took our money and just through us into this area to fend for ourselves.
No Customer Service What-So-Ever!!
In my opinion.........'It Is A Waste of Time & Money!"

Got free tickets to the show and it was the worst experience of our holiday. The place was full of ignorant rude russians talking down and being verbally abusive to the poor staff who were trying their best. The water show was ok if you like that sort of thing. The music was just loud and the food average.

Visited Protaras since 1993 and been to the show 3 times. Have to admit that i enjoyed every moment of it. The dancing waters now include more songs and pirouettes. The addition we have seen last year of the Volcano eruption is quite impressive. Kids where impressed very much with it and also with the 3D animations. Heard this year they will be adding more staff with Holographic displays. Will visit again and keep you posted. Say great show and surely value for money as there is not much to do during night in Protaras area except from pubs and bars with karaoke and drug shows.
