A must see

Decided to visit this church after spotting it one evening. It is high up on a rock so many steps to climb, but well worth it, the views from there are amazing

Fantastic views from the church. I'm not religious in the slightest, but I have a great deal of respect for faith and buildings such as this. Very small church, but beautifully decorated inside. The trip up the steps is worth it for the views over Protaras if nothing else.

We go up to see the church every time we visit Protaras. That's twice I have counted 167 steps from the bottom so it must be about right. We tied a ribbon to one of the memory trees when were up. My mums sister sadly passed away when we were here, so we thought it was appropriate. Make sure and... More

Well worth the climb of the 150 plus steps to reach the top and to see the Church and spectacular views. Pay a few Cents for ribbons to attach to the trees as a memory of your visit or for a loved one.

Great view from the top of surrounding area and nice little church which is very well maintained. Pity some people have felt the need to etch or pen their names onto the rocks and steps. For a quicker and less strenuous way to the top walk round the back of the rock where there is another set of steps and... More

Pretty little church with fantastic viewpoints. Well worth the steep walk to the top. The tributes are very moving on the memory tree and the tranquillity provides a little time for quiet reflection.

What can I say, this little church sits prominently on a hill over looking Protaras and Fig Tree Bay and is worth the while to visit. It is only a very short drive off the main road and is entirely free to visit. Being a little elevated it gives a good view of the surrounding area and is a great... More
