Came to Protaras for a week the end of October and made Love Boat our go to place every night. The staff make you feel very welcome especially the Owner who reserved our table for us every night without us even asking. We tried lots of cocktails which were all very nice as is the Draught Guinness. The entertainment is good and gets you singing but if people are easily offended for whatever reason then maybe the Freddie Morecurry act isn't for you even though he keeps reiterating that "They're only jokes!"
Our last night tonight 29th October and they have a big show on where all the seasons singers are performing so looking forward to it.

Visited the love boat recently on a holiday with our friends. Great atmosphere and the tribute acts are brilliant entertainment.
On our final visit during our holiday (first weekend of June) there was a stand in MC/DJ who was talking over the music and did a lot of singing himself which didn’t give off the same buzz in comparison to our previous visits.
Generally would highly recommend for an evening of cocktails & entertainment

My Wife and I got married in Capo Bay on 29/09/22. We had the best and most beautiful wedding and honeymoon in Protaras. In the three fantastic weeks we stayed in this wonderful resort, Without doubt the best nights out we had were in Love Boat Bar. This family run bar has the most welcoming and fun loving staff. Run by brothers Andreas and Theo, and gifted with the most hard working and fun loving staff both day and night. George in particular in the daytime is the most welcoming and genuine guy you could meet. And by night there are too many to mention but new recruit Zoe shone above all for us, We’ve never had such fantastic attention by such a nice bunch of people. The entertainment is amazing, and although this entertainment can be seen in most of the other bars, Love Boat puts on the most involved and best shows of all the bars on the strip and you can easily see that when the acts are performing there. All the Premier league, Champions league, SPL and international Football you could hope to watch. These guys really can’t do enough for you. This Bar really deserves an award! Well done guys keep up the hard work. Can’t wait to see you all again next year❤️❤️❤️

We've been going to Cyprus for years and the Love Boat was always one of our go-to places to visit for a good night of entertainment and a couple of drinks or a light meal.
The last time we visited (prior to our current holiday) was before lockdown, and we were really surprised at how much this place seems to have gone downhill since then.
It still has lots of entertainment and is still bouncing every night - it's popularity doesn't seem to have wavered to be honest, but the drinks are very clearly watered down and we had to send at least 3 drinks back because they were either flat, incorrect or didn't seem to have alcohol in them at all! One of the waiters told us he wouldn't eat at the place himself!
I know businesses are trying to recoup their losses due to Covid and I am sympathetic to this, but there are lots of other pubs/restaurants who are still providing quality food and drinks (although I didn't dare try the food this time) and so I think this type of behaviour isn't very honest.
We also found the staff to be a lot less friendly than all of the previous times. It was such a disappointment that we ended up avoiding the place altogether, when for past holidays we would usually end up there most days at one point or another.

I love the loveboat. No pun intended. However, this Freddy Mercury tribute act is insulting to breast cancer survives and people who have been associated with breast cancer. Loveboat you need to think about getting rid of him you can do so much better. You usually do

Love boat was a massive miss last year when it was closed. Its great to see such a great bar open again and in full swing. The food in loveboat is amazing with a huge variety to choose from. Everything is served very well presented and very efficiently. The staff are brilliant and very helpful and enjoy having a laugh with you. A great place for a game of pool too. There are plenty of screens that show football and any sporting event you wish to watch. The staff will put it on for you.
My only criticism will be with the Freddy Mercury tribute act. When he came on, he ruined the whole flow of the night. The so called tribute act performed queen to a standard that wasn't enjoyable. He the proceeded to stop performing and try his act at comedy where we found him to be borderline racist and almost forcing people to laugh along with him. I would get rid of this act as soon as possible as he doesn't represent the good vibes and atmosphere that loveboat is famous for.
However, we can't wait to return again next year!

Spent every lunch time in loveboat. Great place,good and drink. George the English waiter is a mind reader,he knew what I wanted to drink before I ordered it. Give loveboat a try you won't be disappointed.

The owner Theo is so welcoming and freindly. The entertainment is really good showing premier league football on 6 screens as well as other sports. They also have live singers performing.
Panikos,Zoe and the rest of the staff are also really freindly and there is an excellent variety of drinks and cocktails.
A great place to drink and eat too.

We started off at the love boat when it started to rain! We entered to "what have you done to the weather" lovely English cuppa and a latte delivered by the wonderful Theo. The manager/owner of this fantastic bar. He couldn't have been any friendlier and welcoming. We eneded up in this bar every night cause it really is the best bar on the strip. Great tribute acts including pink, michael jackson, freddie mercury, and four boys doing dancing and a fire show. Theo was always making sure we got thw best seats as possible as we walked in with a lovely welcome each time.
On our last day we went in for breakfast which was super and even got asked to go back later for a coffee with Theo.
George the English waiter was telling us his amazing story about how he moved out there and everything just worked our perfectly. What an inspirarion to us Brits thinking about moving abroad.
Please go to this bar you will not be disappointed.

The bar looked very busy and popular, so we went in to try. The drinks and cocktails were very expensive and some of them tasted like there was no alcohol in it, so had to send it back. The next one came in nice , but after 20minutes of waiting.

Is the love boat open for the season? what price is magners draft?
Midseason they may put it 10c up depends on inflation.
