Fabulous beach and a must for your holiday, however, a short taxi ride away is Konnos bay, which you will fall in love with. Make sure you arrive early to guarantee a sunbed and parasol, as the midday sun is extreme.

Awesome view. So fine sand. The water sublime. Plus 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella 7.50 euro for all. Including free wi-fi? Password on the receipt. A real deal. You should not miss this beach if you are in the area.

The only thing missing from this beach are the dolphins. Great crystal clear waters, gold sandy beach and lovely restaurants near by for a quick break from the heat... Just over an hour drive from Limassol in case you find yourselves staying in Limassol and not Ayia Napa or Protaras which are round the corner from this great beach. We... More

Quite ealry in the day the beach is crammed with charged for use loungers leaving little room at the waters edge. we found the best time due to the intense heat was about 17.00 setting up camp on the sand at the waters edge. Disappointed though, people do not respect the environment or the beauty of this area leaving litter!

The best beach in cyprus. Clean but gets really crowded in july and August. Blue flag organised beach. A must visit

Great beach, very safe waters. Lots of water sports to suit all tastes. I managed to swim to the island just in the bay. I'd probably avoid on weekends as lots of locals from Nicosia treat it as an away day and gets full by9am I was told by the man who sold the beds. WiFi works well too, according... More

This is a beautiful beach but it gets VERY busy ! We got there about 11am and did manage to get sun beds ( which there is a charge for) but any later and we would not have got them. Sea is crystal clear. Lots of places to eat nearby ! A lovely family day out and we even found... More

Been going for 17 years, and personally I believe it was better before Protaras got it's big hotels and resorts. However, don't live on one of them, live in a smaller hotel and eat at the restaurants around the, so called, bar street or nearby. Also, don't be by the pool when you are by the sea! Cyprus has the... More
