- KelseyEgham, United Kingdom51 contributionsBeautifulBeautiful little beach. We saw turtles twice during the few trips we took to Green Bay. Lots of sunbeds available. There’s a little cafe at the top of the beach which sells coffee, food, water etc which is convenient.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 9, 2023
- Cara and Jeanin... H1 contributionBeautiful Small BeachThe water was gorgeous and pretty clean. There couldn't have been more than 20ish umbrellas with 2 sun lounge chairs each so I would go early if I was visiting on a weekend. During the week we arrived around 10-11AM and had no problems choosing from a few spots left. The cost is €2.50 per item so €7.50 total for two chairs and an umbrella rental for as long as we stayed. The attendant seems to come by every so often to collect payment. This is an intimate little beach with soft sand and crystal turquoise waters. We snorkeled around the rocks and saw a handful of different kinds of fish. We didn't see any sea turtles here but we also didn't plan for ideal timing to see them or anything like that. There are a handful of cute rocky coves you could take your own beach blanket or chair to and enjoy the sun (or shade from the rocks) and the sea. There's a dive school in this little bay and they have some boats which I thought were interesting if not especially natural. Two easily reachable cafe types nearby. The one at the top of the driveway (emergency vehicle access only) had fried food, ice cream, and drinks as well as a nice patio to sit at. I had a margarita that seemed to be an ice blended lemonade with tequila. Zero complaints as it was fantastic and a frozen tequila lemonade is delightful and pretty close to a margarita considering it's not even a Cypriot drink! The other cafe type is a food van with drinks, juices, cold sandwiches, and also a lovely lounging patio. My wife and I spent a day and a half at this beach and really enjoyed it. Parking is plentiful and a short distance from the water. This is also the only beach I saw in my short time in Cyprus with a FREE shower to rinse off at. A great bonus as I didn't have coins most of the time for the showers at the other beaches.Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 16, 2024

The bay has some gorgeous fish and is ideal for snorkeling, there is some underwater statues also which make it that bit more interesting. Theres a cafe overlooking the bay that serves salads, burgers and snacks, the food is delicious and all reasonably priced.Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 20, 2024
- Panos HNicosia, Cyprus522 contributionsBeautiful small beach but overcrowded and underdevelopedWe went on a July Sunday. It was competely packed ….we found place GP park (since there are many field nearby) but no chance for umbrella or bed. The waters are clear and cool. The two small canteens cater for the needs of bathers but a given unit needs to be built soon.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 8, 2024

It is very suitable for children of all ages because it is sandy with a gradual entry into the water. Sometimes, on weekends and holidays, it is very crowded, which reduces the full enjoyment.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 25, 2024

Nice little bay for early morning swim or last thing in the evening. In May it was always quiet so can imagine its busy in summer months. Perfect place to spend the day and parking nearby if you drive there.

For me much better and relaxing beach then famous nearby beach Konnos. Easy to find place to park with all the amenities you need. Bed or umbrella each for 2.50€, food track and water sport hat. The main part of the cove beach is clean sandy beach which is around 4pm without sun at the begging of November the rest is rocky part. Easy entrance into the crystal clear and calm sea. The sea is fantastic for great swimming and snorkeling. I enjoyed afternoon lazing on this beach.

used to be really nice and cute natural beach. then humans came in (with machinery) and totally destroyed it. The only plus there now is it has public toilets, but otherwise who has been there few years ago before the beautiful natural rocks got demolished knows what i am talking about. now it is nice but ordinary.

A great place for a relaxing easy scuba dive. Great visibility up to 10m . Plenty to sea around fish rock . In a 55min dive we had 5 different turtle sightings. Amazing.

Our first time visiting Green Bay on 3.9.22 and we absolutely loved it! Took the teenagers and the bag of snorkels and masks and dropped into the sea from the rocky area. Within 30mins we were joined by a turtle. Amazing! Also saw a couple of scuba divers swimming below us (expect they were from Green Bay Watersports). Although we didn’t use it there looked to be a nice little mobile cafe (The Bay - Bites & Brew).

Breath-taking. Beautiful views. Access to the scuba diving from the rock pool beach. A great place to do novice and intermediate level diving. Great visibility on the day we dove. Lots of fish and I believe there is some stone monuments around 12m deep. I saw people swimming near them but as we were beginners, we did not go so close.

How accessible is parking to the beach, is it flat? Currently on 2 crutches. Is the sand smooth? Is there a lot of rocks?
