For kids under 7 the pirate area is great for both adults & children and the tube rides. It’s definitely better to go after 1500pm to save money as full day will test a parents entertainment value. Compared to water park in Bali or Singapore it’s a very poor cousin.

Thank you very much for your review. We are modest, just being compared with the Spanish parks we are satisfied. Regards.

We went to the 3pm to 7 pm session, as to save a bit of money, and for me it was enough time , we drove here and even tho it was rammed , still plenty of free parking , I chose this park as a lot of rides my 6 year old could go on, but when arriving realised he couldn’t go on some of them , cos even tho he is over a meter 10 , he’s not a strong swimmer , so water at end of rides too deep for him, but all in all both my boys had a good day, my oldest got a little bored as he don’t like big rides and prefers doing the smaller ones with his brother , but found out my 11 year old wasn’t allowed on them which upset him a little as he was watching other 5 year olds plus , being allowed on with there mums and dads , We did it eat here but I did look at food prices which were decent , I think burger and a drink was like 5 euros , waffles smelt amazing but queues were massive , shame the whole park was massive queues , would like to come back when less people do we could do a few extra rides but all in all we all had a good day

Visited the park at the end of July as a family. My husband and daughter were on a 2 person ride that used an inflatable. Before they were half way through the ride the next inflatable had caught up with them - clearly it had been set off too soon. As they were climbing out at the end of the ride the next 2 person inflatable rammed into them, knocking my husband off his feet, landing on his back, inside the slide. He was in considerable pain and could not get up. By this time a third inflatable was heading for him and customers waiting in the queue jumped into the water to stop this one also hitting him. Eventually my husband was taken to the first aid room where he was given 1 Ibuprofen and some Voltarol deep heat rub and was sent away. 3 weeks later he is still in pain. We left a written complaint as there was no manager on duty and were told someone would contact us. 3 weeks later we have still heard nothing, even though I left an email and a phone number. Complete waste of money for us, as our visit ended after 3 rides, due to poor management of the rides, resulting in a significant injury. Very disappointing visit and level of after care.

Dear lady, the story you are telling has absolutely nothing to do with the report that was sent to me at that time by the chief of lifeguards and first aid personnel, including a doctor. I'm sorry you had that impression, but honestly I think you're exaggerating your experience. Do not know what for... The normal thing if it was done so much damage is to make a part of the injuries in a hospital and put a report, for that there is insurance. Best regards.

If you're a Brit travelling to Aquarama on a day out from either Valencia (as we did), or Barcelona then best is to do this as part of your car hire and drive. The trains can be a tad tricky if you don't speak Spanish, because they have Intercity trains (expensive and prebookable only), and domestic train lines, which are infrequent.Getting to Benicassim by train is do-able, just much easier by car. Aquarama is BUSY. We went on a Monday afternoon (tickets are cheaper in the 3pm-7pm close session and arguably you only need half day here - it isn't that big). The queues were l-o-n-g. Granted, it was holiday time late July, but still...the queues for the family rides were an hour at least. Luckily my kids are a bit older so we opted for the kamikaze slides (there are 3), which had shorter queues. During the last hour we only queued 5-10 mins for these. The other rides still had hideous queues. It's a nice, clean place, however it is policed in a very draconian fashion. My wife took a deckchair with us so she could pitch up wherever she liked (she doesn't like the slides), and was immediately accosted and the chair confiscated. The sunbeds are reasonable (around £3) but that wasn't the point...she wanted to be flexible in terms of where she sat; not fixed to one area. Also the lockers are a bit pricey (£7 inc a deposit which you get back). Food seemed reasonable enough but we didn't eat there other than a waffle, which was okay. Kids loved it though, and that's all that counts for me. Reasonably priced day out if you can stand the queues.

The rides which do not require rings typically had short queues and were efficiently run. On the rides with rings the setup is to wait at the bottom to get a ring and then carry it to the top. On some of them there didn't seem to be enough rings with big gaps while all of the rings were on route back to the top and we gave up waiting.. We had ice creams while there and they were very good value - cheaper than on the sea front and the other food outlets we saw also looked good value. We waited until 3pm to arrive to take advantage of the cheaper prices and this gave us enough time to try almost all of the rides (some of them multiple times - though not the ones requiring rings!). There are plenty of lockers available (for a fee) and there is an option of a preloaded wristband to allow you to buy food and drink without having to carry cash(which we didn't use so cannot comment on). Would visit again but would try and pick a quieter day!
