We visited Aquavelis whilst in Malaga recently. My wife and I had promised our girls we’d take them to a water park whilst on holiday so we weighed up our options. The parks at Fuengirola and Torremelinos were closer but we opted for Aquavalis based upon trip adviser reviews and we were glad we did. The park was quite busy but never felt overcrowded, we found an area under shade with sun beds which we rented for 4 euros each. Plenty of people laid towels out on grassy areas so this was an optional rather than a necessary hidden cost. The park was very clean and had a real relaxed family feel about it, most other visitors were Spanish. There was a good selection of slides for all age groups with only 2 of the main slides requiring rental of a rubber ring at an additional cost. There were also a number of large pool areas where the kids could splash and swim. We took food and drinks with us so can’t comment on the food at the park other than it looked like the usual USA themed burgers and fries, no doubt attracting the usual cost. All in all we had a great day and we’d definitely go back to Aquavelis

Let me say from the beginning that I am not a fan of water parks. We had given our two children (12 & 10) a 2 hour maximum time limit for our visit to Aquavelis as a result. We ended up staying over six hours and were amongst the last to leave. From the moment we stepped across the threshold we were impressed by the cleanliness of the park. Everywhere was immaculate. It was incredibly well organised and run. We had food that was made fresh to order and tasty!! No complaints from anyone. We felt completely comfortable allowing the children to go off by themselves on the various slides as the slides were incredibly well manned and run by lifeguards, as were the various pools. All the equipment appeared to be in very good condition and very well maintained. Every member of staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. If you are in the area, I could heartily recommend a visit. Really good fun!

The park as about 20 minute walk from our hotel. We spent day at park. Worth every penny! Daughter and grandson went on the various rides including the visual reality event. They said it was totally amazing. I even went for a swim in one of the pools.

We are just in our second week of holiday and the weather is still great. I understand they have to shut out of season, but to me it’s still in season so disappointed to read their website with the closure on the 9/9/19.

We visited along with our 3 boys aged 16, 8 and 21 months. We had a great time. The park was a great size, not too big, staff were helpful and courteous and the park was super clean. It was clear the park was well cared for. Easy to get to from Málaga, where we were staying. Highly recommend.

Very nice park! It wasn't a busy day so maybe that's why it looked so neat and organized but felt really good. Some here complained about queues because of safety regulations. I think you should be happy a park like that has these in place and actually acts upon it! Thumbs up. Cleanest toilets we ever saw during our 2 weeks stay. Bring big bottles of water/drinks with you cause the charge of 2 eur for a small water feels out of place.

What a fantastic park! We have been to several water parks and this one is up there with one of the best. It is a small park but what is nice is that there are NO fast passes so everyone queues the same and the queues go down quicker because of this system. It is much better! Also due to not having so many inflatables to take on rides this cuts the queue times. Much more enjoyable! Our 16,14,12 and 50 year old spent hours on the rides.
Yes food is expensive but what do you expect? Same as back in the UK when you go to these places. We took a picnic but also the kids got a burger meal which was less than 10 euro. Ice cream around 3 euro. Yes it’s pricey but it’s to be expected.
Definitely would recommend this park and we would come back.

3rd visit with husband and young teenage daughter. The park has plenty of umbrellas. Previously we payed for sun loungers bit this time just lay on towels on the grass which was fine. We always pay for a locker for valuables and take a packed lunch, mercadona is just outside to buy snacks. Drinks inside are a bit pricey but expected.
The slides are all in one place, which I think is great, especially if kids want to go off by themselves. There are enough slides to make the day fun, however the wave pool is not on enough, think 4 times between 11am and 5pm.
Daughter is older now but the younger children's section is also good fun and close to the bigger slides, which helps families of mixed ages.
Plenty of parking outside (think for one euro).

A brilliant day out with slides for all ages. We loved the new slide ‘magic hole.’ My kids said it was their best ever day out! We went at 4-7pm to get significant discount and it was a little cooler then do this worked very well. Suggest you take lots of water and some snacks as it can be expensive inside to purchase these. The changing areas could be developed - with family changing rooms to make things easier.
All in all, well worth visiting if you have kids!

Ok so we didn't plan to go here but had out beach gear with us and drive by so decided we would go in . 2 adults and 8 and 5 year old and a baby ( 13 months )

Have to say we really enjoyed the park , it was small enough to walk around in 10 mins but there was enough to keep you occupied for the day.

Life guard staff were friendly , parking was ample in the on-site car park for 1 euro , entrance cost was 87 odd euro but would have been cheaper if we pre booked by about 10-15 euro .

The food service and quality was awful, and a total Rip off , I know it's a water park and you are supposed to get gouged a little but I really felt ripped off . 3.75 for a small bother of coke for example ! Burger , chips and a drink , 13 euro which included 11 chips , a bit over the top to count them I know but it really annoyed me . Also the bugger was not cooked and I sent it back and got very little apology. Staff not very attentive at all

I know it's not a five star food tour and you go there for the water and fun.. But it tainted the overall experience

Top tips , some minor but with noting..

Buy tickets online at least one day in advance

Bring all you want in a cooler bag, for drinks etc

You can use an I'm umbrella for free but sun beds are 4 per bed

We don't have swim nappies as we we're not planning on going, they provided them at eur1 per nappy any water park I've been to before had them for free.. For fairly obvious reasons!

You can't wear sunglasses in the pool s unless you have those sunglass string holders... Which they sell...

They have lockers, we didn't use them, place seemed very safe and life guard everywhere

There is a VR game thing, didn't look great so we skipped it

Place seemed full but not crowded there is a wave pool watch the kids loved also

There is a supermarket which is right next door, it was closed today as it's Sunday however.

All said we would go back, just better prepared
