Mykonos Catamaran tour was well worth it. We had a group of 12 and had the whole catamaran to ourselves. We stopped at 2 beaches to swim and snorkel, which was amazing. Then we were served a traditional Greek dinner, cooked on the boat! It was delicious! We can’t wait to go back and do it again!

Dinner was really good but when it was ready. I wish we were told that there would be absolutely no food for the first 4 hours not even snacks! We were literally starving!

Hello there, This is surprising since on our Day tour we serve the lunch around 12:30 and on our Afternoon/Sunset trip around 6pm (early dinner). Moreover, if we serve the meal later the catamaran could be in trouble to be back in time... Concerning our Full Day private tours, our cook asks always his guests at what time they would like to enjoy our full meal. However, it would be helpful if you could send us a message or an email with your name, so I could figure out on which of the 5 catamarans you were that day in order to check with the crew if there was a delay on the meal and if so, what was the reason. Captain David and Adrian were the best captain & crew. We had a great time and the food was delicious (shrimps literally melted in our mouths). The service was impeccable and both crewmembers were extremely helpful and generous. Touring the island from the water is definitely a must and highlight of our trip. Thank you to both of you. Your 16 Canadian friends.

I've done about 4 sailings of this nature around the world. This one hands down was the worst. Let me first start with finding the company at the dock in Ornos is beyond hectic and chaotic. They do a terrible job making their presence visible nor do they offer much help in finding them. I tried to call the number in Aris' signature block in our email correspondence, but of course no-one answered. Thankfully, we got there early and found them after searching for roughly 20 minutes. Other passengers on our tour were quite late because as they expressed the similar concerns of not being able to find the meeting location. I noticed another reviewed mentioned this, so my sentiments are not unfounded. As for the tour itself, the captain communicated next to nothing about where we were going, the stops, what was happening, etc… he also at no point offered no snorkeling options or Equipment as advertised. One of the other guests (named Vanessa from Brazil) commented to me that the captain was rude and dismissive to her. Moreover, the only time I saw the captain smile or show some sort of excitement was when he asked one of the French girls to “Perhaps remove more of her clothing” — because she was wearing a shawl over her bathing suit. This happened during the stop where we visited the ruins where the archeologists live -- his gesture and comments were quite in appropriate if you ask me. These types of excursions are usually always dependent on the hospitality and happiness of the boats Captain and first mate, however both of them were basically miserable and it was evident they did not want to be working that day. Considering I paid 320 Euros for this excursion I feel compelled to write this review on TripAdvisor. To be honest, I thought maybe I was being overly sensitive in the Captain’s behavior, lack of communication, overall unfriendliness but my thoughts were confirmed by many of the guests with whom we chatted. I'd like to point out that the other guests made these comments to us unsolicited - again confirming my feelings that it wasn't just us being sensitive. I hope perhaps they captain was just having a bad day like we all do, but it truly was an under delivering experience, one I wouldn’t recommend to friends or other guests staying at the Mykonos Grand (which slight pivot, I highly recommend, the Mykonos Grand is an amazing property!). Oh lastly, in your booking payments your team clearly stated the remaining balance needed to be settled in cash…. Which we did. But we noticed other guests paying with cards. Why were they allowed to pay with cards and we weren’t? This also extremely delayed the time it took to get back to the dock. In my opinion, Payment should have been collected at the beginning like every other cruise I’ve been on. I of course emailed Aris expressing my thoughts but have yet to hear back -- very on brand for this company.

Mr. John F., Our hostess Dora is always on the dock to welcome all our guests and to help them for the embarkation process. She wears a t-shirt with the company logo to make her easily identifiable. Moreover, the dock is small and the Google Map pin that we send to all our passengers is very accurate. Some years ago we were the only company starting from Ornos Bay, however, now there are many companies who followed our steps, starting from the same location and embarking at the same time, which can make boarding a little bit confusing at times. However, I have to write here that in your comment, you use contemptuous innuendos which are more childish behavior on your part than objective criticism. You have absolutely no idea of the enormous effort made by our booking manager Aris to satisfy all of our customers, but you allow yourself to try to damage our reputation under the pretext that we could not answer you on the phone immediately. No comment. You didn't enjoy the tour and you probably think that writing a bad review is the supreme weapon, like a revenge... Just for your information, there was a family of four on board with you that day and they tipped the crew quite well, there was also a Greek American couple who tipped the crew too, sincerely, I don't think that you tip somebody that you judge miserable... There was also a couple of French ladies on board who invited the crew for a drink after the tour (the crew politely declined), I don't think that invite somebody who had an inappropriate behaviour for a drink. Concerning the snorkeling, the boat did 2 stops for swimming and snorkeling in Rinia island in beautiful coves, so I do not understand your comment about this point. Probably the real problem was a lack of communication between you and the crew and I thank you to point this out since it's part of captain's duty to identify the needs of each passenger and to answer them if possible. At last, concerning the balance payment, normally we accept credit cards payments only up to 24 hours before the tour, since on the spot, a cash payment is sure and fast, not causing any delay. However, if some guests need to proceed to a balance payment without bringing any cash on board, we have no other option but to accept their credit card. Concerning your email, we received it and it's my own task to reply to such feedbacks, however, as owner-manager of the company who has to face many challenges every day, I could need few days to proceed (much longer than your character allows, obviously). Great crew, great boat, amazing food and drinks!! Plenty of room on board. We really enjoyed it! Just remember the limited taxis available in Mykonos if you are arriving by cruise to make it over and back from where this tour operates out of (Ornos). We were told there were around 33 taxis in Mykonos in July 22.
