A peaceful place for staying 2-3 days for holidays. The beach is very safe and secured. It's filled with natural beauties. For staying there, Hotel Neelanjana Ltd is the best economy hotel.

The name Kuakata originated from the word Kua English word “Well” dug on the sea shore by the early Rakhine settlers in quest of collecting drinking water, who landed on Kuakata coast after getting expelled from the Arakan (Myanmar) by Moughals. Afterwards, it has become a tradition of digging Kua-Well in the neighborhood of Rakhaine tribes for water. kuakata patuakhaly... More

Overall ok if you stay 24hours there, within which you can enjoy all the tourist attractions. Must not miss sunrise, sunset and a motobike ride along the sea-beach to see some areas. These motorbike are for rent with registered for tourist purpose. This area is not as lively as Coxs Bazaar. Beach area relatively less crowdy compare to Coxs Bazaar.... More

The place is beautiful, but what i really enjoy here, had been the rapport with the locals... I made a lot of genuine friendship and i was invited, without any secondary interest, to there villages, there school, there homes and sometime, around Bangladesh with them... difficult was, after 10 days, to leave not really the place, which is anyway good... Kuakata, 35 km long sandy beach in southern part of Bangladesh, has got scenic beauty with calm and quiet nature alongside worlds largest mangrove forest Sundarban. A bit distant from capital Dhaka, around 10 hours by bus, which might be shorter in near future after commissioning of several bridges, has got tremendous potential of tourism. Other than a pleasant beach,several... More

From Kuakata you can experience both sunrise and sunset from sea. More natural and raw comparing with coxs bazar. Very near to Sundarban, this place is very interesting from geographical point. The sea here is filled with fishing activities more. One can also experience lots of sea food here in kuakata. During my visit the sea was very calm but... More

Most amazing Tour of my life. Journey was good. There are several Bus services from Dhaka to Kuakata. Best one is Sakura Paribahan. They have AC and Non AC buses for Kuakata. There is a problem with AC bus. AC bus does not go to Kuakata. It dropped me Kolapara/ Khepupara Ferry Ghat, Potuakhali. My Journey was over night. I... More

Kuakata is a panaromic sea seashore on the southernmost tip of Bangladesh. Located in the Patuakhali area, Kuakata has a large sandy beach starting where one can see both the sunup and sunset. It is on 320 Kilometers south of Dhaka, the capital, and about 70 Kilometers from the ward command center. The Kuakata beach is 30 km lengthy and... More

To celebrate the Bangla New Year 1421, recently I'v visited Kuakata Beach (Under Potuakhali District) also known as Daughter of Sea or Daughter of Forest as the site is surrounded by different patches of forest. Among the sandy beaches of Bangladesh the Kuakata is awesome. It is very clean and also calm with clean blue water. Labu Bagan (Lemon forest... More
