Bashor Ghor of Behula and Lakshindar is situated in Bogura. It is 17 kilometre toward northern side from Bogura centre. The place is very beautiful to look. It is neat and clean. The place is historical. Many people go there to enjoy everyday. Actually the Bashor Ghor means honeymoon suites. There is a mythology that Lakshindar - husband of Behula was beaten by a snake at his wedding night in this bashor ghor for the curse of Manasha. It is a wheel chair entrance and parking place. The entrance fee is tk.20/- for the local people.

It is a hindu temple. The locals think that it was “bashor ghar” of Behula and Lakkhidar as per the Hindu mythology. A lot of people come to visit the site every year. The site has great historical importance. It represents the archaeological skills of our ancestors.

This old stupa was extensively excavated and now is just a shell of itself. Nonetheless, it is scenic and you can climb to the top for a view of the fields. Take care when climbing as the ground is even and some of the bricks are crumbling.

The site is located at Sibgonj upozilla under Bogra ,a district of northern Bangladesh. From Bogra it is 18/19 KM away connected via metal road . Local bus comes 3KM close to site there after Rickshaw or van.Leaving mainroad at Mohasthan metal road moves through traditional village and finally ends at Gokul . Behular Basar Ghar is located on a mound of 25/30 feet . It can be seen from main road. At the entrance there are parking and washroom facility though not very clean.
The walking path leads to mound . Specialty of this mound is all around the mound there are beehive type vertical walls .The architectural was to prevent snakes to climb this tiny mound. Top of it is flat This is honeymoon suit of Behula or Behular Basar Ghar .This is a popular site because it is related to a love story..
Folklore says there was merchant named Laxmindar who married Behula. As per horoscope on first night of marriage Laxmindar was to die because of snake bite . But Behula was adament to marry Laxmindar .To prevent the horoscopic words a honey moon suit was built in a mound with bee hive type straight wall to prevent snake to enter the room. But einevitable took place Laxmindar died of snakebite in the honeymoon suit . There after Behula`s love and determination story to bring back Laxindar to life . She was successful that`s made the whole site is popular . Many young pairs are seen taking picture on the site .

This is a excavated mound. The place was a temple of ancient time. There is a mythological story attached with this place. People believes of this area the there is a room in this excavated building is the honeymoon suite of mythological character "Behula & Lokkhindor" who was cursed by a Hindu goddess of snake. Lokkindor was bitten by snake in his honeymoon suite at wedding night after that Behula took her husband's dead body to heaven and make him alive again. Behula is a mythological corrector. People believe that her honey moon suite was situated in Bogra, Bangladesh. Her husband was bitten by snake on their weeding nights. Behula traveled to the heaven and danced in front of hindu Gods untill they gave the life of her husband, Lakhindor back.
