Our group went to the theater to listen to the curator give us the history of this 19th century theater and then he gave a demonstration of the acoustics by singing a song. It had been restored after being vacant for many years.

Teatro Garibaldi is a hidden gem. Built in the 19th century of wood made from old boats. It was closed for many years but is now open. Worth a visit.

It was interesting to see this old theater in the heart of town. What made it more interesting was hearing about the discovery of the Satyr statue by a local fisherman. It can be see in the Satyr museum in town.

Because we were with a tour, someone from a local artisan shop offered to have us shown round the theatre. It was really interesting, hearing what had been done with it and how it operated.

This place is worth a look, but it helps to have an informed guide who can provide the history and background. I do not consider this to be a major attraction as there are so many other things to see and do here.

A charming old theater that was built of scavaged materials and then restored in recent years. It holds about 100 people and has an interesting history.

The Teatro Garibaldi dates from 1848 and is definitely worth going to see if you are interested in the history of theatre. There is no entry fee and it is fascinating to see the layout of this small place with the seating, stage and boxes,...More

The theater was undergoing renovations when we visited. It is a lovely little jewel that needs a bit of polishing.
