This Cathedral Church is very large and beautifully positioned close to the Lungomare. The front face is very beautiful as my photo shows. A large square lies behind the building from where one can gain a sense of its proportions. The architecture is predominantly baroque though

The cathedral is very very big, the yellow of the walls is so strong that seems as a sun this wonderful cathedral. It is almost in front of the beach in a very nice area of Mazara del Vallo, close to the strip. Absolutely important is to visit it.

As for many churches in Sicily, this has elements of Norman architecture although the majority is a later baroque. The inside is particularly ornate and busy. The square behind is beautiful and peaciful.
