I took a day trip to Ramallah from Jerusalem because I wanted to see all of the region and not just confine myself to Israel. This is how you get to Ramallah from Jerusalem using the bus.

- Go to the bus station located outside of Jaffa Gate, Old City Jerusalem and/or opposite the The Garden Tomb

- Take Bus #218 to the last stop which is the bus station in Ramallah and is right in Downtown Ramallah.

- To leave you take the same bus at the bus station in Ramallah to the gate. You will require your passport to re-enter and may have to exit the bus and take another bus back to Jerusalem on the Israeli side of the border crossing.

Ramallah is well worth it. The city is bustling with many businesses and the Yasser Arafat Museum.

Excellent information--maps, pamphlets, souvenirs. A few lovely items for sale. The Ramallah Municipality has done a wonderful job for anyone in the history of Ramallah and current information.

I liked the place a lot, as it is one of the Palestinian typical ancient homes, so it will give you an idea about how the Palestinian architect is. You can find a map of the city there, and employees will answer your questions regarding your visit to Ramallah, You can find nice souvenirs there.
It is located in Ramallah al tahta, where you can visit the old city of Ramallah, so it will be a nice start of your visit to the city. There are some coffee shops around, and a nice bakery just beside it, so you can enjoy your morning there with a nice cup of tea or coffee with croissant.

Great place to get a map and ask questions in English, sold a few touristy items specific to Ramallah instead of Jerusalem. Picked up postcards. Close to some international cafes and the old city.

I loved in Ramallah for 2 years in Ramallah Tahta old city and it's so beautiful there. Old houses mixed with modern decorations. I might be considering to invest money there.

When we got to Ramallah bus station we realised that we had no service and didn't know where to go in the city, so we popped into the local tourist information center. The guide was very helpful, provided us with a free map without which we would definitely have gotten extremely lost over the day, and pointed out numerous sites of interest and places to go on top of the place that we actually went into to ask about. Honestly, I wouldn't normally review a tourist information centre but here in a city where you don't know the language and your phone is offline, it was so helpful
