Just got back from Portinatx having a had a great holiday even though it was very quiet due to the pandemic. When we arrived, we were concerned as due to the pandemic, very little was open in the way of places to eat. But Beverley the owner of Del Boys came to the rescue. Beverly was great and we ended up having breakfast there most mornings.
Our son is a little fussy with his eating, but Beverly made sure she had a good supply of English Bacon and his favourite Pizzas.
All the meals were freshly cooked and if what you wanted differed from the menu it was never too much trouble for them to accommodate our requirements.
Other reviews for Portinatx state its expensive but I have to say Del Boys provides great value for money and provided us with the best meals of our holiday. They even recommended another restaurant if we fancied a change just displaying how caring and friendly, they are.
On our last day when they heard what time we were being picked up Beverly started earlier so as to make sure we had a meal before we travelled home.
Me and the family can not recommend Del Boys enough. If you want freshly cooked good value for money meals, a bar with a good selection of beers and spirits with a warm and friendly welcome visit Del Boys, trust me you will not be disappointed.

We visited Del Boys during our holiday in Portinatx this year.
I used to visit Portinatx and Delboys as a child with my parents, so it was a family holiday with some fond old memories attached.
What I didn’t expect, was that my family would love Del Boys bar so much and it became an every evening routine. Quiz and then Karaoke was the order of the day.
The bar offers reasonably priced, English lagers and drinks. My wife was amazed to find they stocked blue WKD, which was not available anywhere else.
Brian and Beverly who own the bar, are very friendly and the whole place has a family friendly feel.
Kids are welcome and even encouraged to try the karaoke.
My little girl Amber is very shy normally, and her confidence bloomed as Beverly and Brian encouraged her performance on the microphone.
We are booked to return in August 2023 and Del boys will be firmly on the agenda.

Staying at the sandos el greco a 3 min walk away ..
i’m an ageing dad with poor singing ability with a teen daughter who wants entertainment after the hotel show Karaoke here from 10-12pm ,12-1pm drinks still served
I’m not one to do karaoke at all but get the best new group of friends ( some were shy and retiring) you’ll ever come across from the hotel as i did , let your inner self take over and the magic takes care of itself
from young to not young everyone got the BUG and bonded .
we got the BUG and ended up in there 5/7 nights of our stay !
Brian and bev with Jodie run the family owned bar charge very fair prices for lovely drinks and are so welcoming and involved , Adds another fun dimension to your hols and brings together new friends in a way you never thought possible .

Been many a time to Del Boys, and was only halted earlier this summer due to the current pandemic.
I cannot recommend the place enough. They offer such a variety of food, drink and entertainment. If you like watching football, this place is for you. If you like Karaoke, this place is for you. If you like to have a drink into the early hours, without fear of trouble, this place most certainly is for you.
As stated above, the food is outstanding, in particular i highly recommend The Tower Burger and The Rack of Ribs. You simply cannot go wrong with either!!
As someone who has many years experience in the leisure & Tourism industry, in particular restaurants, i am fully aware of what is required to offer excellent customer service. I can say hand on heart that in all my years in the customer service industry, I have never received a higher quality of service ever, and I state this as someone who has travelled to many countries in both Europe and North/Latin America.
As soon as it is safe to travel, if you are looking for somewhere to visit, I put Del Boys right at the top of the list.
This time next year …...

Such a fun atmosphere, the staff are so lovely and caring and a great laugh! And the cocktails are wonderful. Would recommend to anyone in the area! Such a laugh to be here. We have a group of people who all met at our hotel and we have been coming here every single night because it's such a great place. It was recommended by one of our group or I wouldn't have realised it was here, such a hidden gem!

Tucked away a little just off the front, this is a really nice, friendly bar. Beverley and Brian are really welcoming. We went in because we saw them advertising the Formula 1 and ended up spending the whole night there. A good reasonably priced place, a decent pool table too!

I’ve never been someone to seek out an English bar when I’m abroad, but we read such good reviews about Delboys bar that we decided to pop in and we were so pleased we did. Brian and Beverley are the friendliest hosts you could ever wish to meet and we had real fun doing karaoke, so much so that we went back for a second night. Beverley has a nice range of gins behind the bar and Brian is a whizz on the music video mixing desk, playing a great range of age-appropriate music for the clientele. They are also a wealth of knowledge about the local area and are only too willing to give you tips and advice and the benefit of their 30 yrs experience living in Portinatx. It’s a shame that places like this are suffering from the rise of the all-inclusive hotels so I would urge people to call in and give them some custom, and have some fun!

We found this bar on the first day of our holiday. Brian, Beverley and Jodie were so friendly and gave us some great tips for our holiday. We returned a few times for drinks and to watch the rugby, a real find in a resort where there aren't any other bars as mainly restaurants. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Portinax. Thanks Ali & John x

Great night, owners are very welcoming and friendly . Fantastic selection of Gins . It is worth making the effort to get away from the conveyor belt of the All inclusive hotels to have a relaxing night where you are treated like old friends by the staff .

Stopped at this place for a beer and something to eat.
What a great place to eat. Food is cooked fresh and is excellent along with the staff who run this classic bar.
Sampled the tapas - wow. Spot on.
Main meals - simply delicious with the best homemade coleslaw you will taste.
Great selection of beers and wines to suit all.
If you are in the area then this place is definitely worth a visit.

Hi, When I was younger I used to come to Portinatx every year with my parents and we came to delboys every night! 17yrs on I am now bringing my own little family to finally show them just how beautiful Portinatx is. We are booked to come in the Easter holidays 1-10th April and I just wanted to check that you (and other bars and restaurants) will be open? I now it’s early in the Season.
