Became quite busy at peak times. Perfectly blue, clear water and lots of fish that swim right up to you. Prices for sunbeds were quite steep but perfect otherwise.

We always use this beach every time we visit Portinatx.
Every morning the beach is raked by a tractor after the sun bed an has put his beds out.
The waters are shallow enough to allow small childeren to safely play on the front.
It is a great place to snorkel due the the clearness of the waters. Swim around the rocks past the ropes for the best place to see different fishes. But do take care for the mauve stinger jelly fish, which this uear finally caught up with me and mangeded to sting me very close to shore. They feel like boiling water is poured in you, and blister the skin very quickly. Pain goes in a few hours but will leave scarring.
THe beach itself is cleaned daily so always ready for a full days enjoyment. Sunbeds and umbrella hire are 7 euros each for hire, and restaurants are just a few metres stroll.
It does not matter what size or shape you are, no one cares on this beach, which is nice, as some places only want the "beautiful people" i their pics, but here noe one cares, which i like.

Only down side i would say is at night when it is clear, we found some like to let their dogs play on the sad, but not pick up after them (shame on you)!, but that is not true of all dog owners on that beach, jut the minority.

This is a lovely beach, great for all to enjoy, but very very busy. The downside is the astronomical sunbed and parasol charges. For two people you are looking at 18 euros a day, which is ridiculous. We bought a fantastic parasol for 7 euros which we duly passed on to new arrivals upon our departure.

S'Arenal Petit is one of the beaches located in the surroundings of Portinatx, near Cala Xarraca and S'Arenal Gros. They are all located in Ibiza Island. It is a sand beach to come in summer to bath and sunbath. But, I came here in January, in sunset, after doing a hike, so I came here to relax, quite and see views of the sea and surroundings. It was ok.

Very small and most of the space taken up by sun loungers that you have to pay to use - better to walk 100 yards north to the larger S'Arenal Gros.

Lovely lovely bay, our second stay in portinatx was just as wonderful as our first 2 years ago, the north coast of Ibiza has some stunning bays and s,arenal petit is one of the nicest that it is possible to stay at. The water is crystal clear and full of fish, the bream will surround you and eat out of your hands if you take some food down for them.the beach s cleaned every night and the whole area is tranquil and relaxed with no loud clubs or pubs, just restaurants and some evening entertainment in the hotels if you want it. If going over a weekend I would recommend booking the sunset cruise, which leaves from the aquabus jetty at the larger bay, a lovely laid back cruise with inclusive drinks, stops for snorkelling and swimming and a jet ski ride, the highlight for us was the bottle nose dolphins that swam and jumped alongside the boat,
The smaller bay is quieter than the bigger bay and doesn't have the speedboat rides that the larger bay does, I would strongly recommend booking one of the hotels overlooking the small bay for a quiet relaxed family holiday. The only down side was that there was a large amount of jellyfish one day of our holiday, although this was not exclusive to thus bay, and there is nothing anyone could have done about it

Beautiful if a little busy! Hire beds and parasols. Swim in turquoise water. Worth a day here! Hire a boat or laze in the sun - the choice is yours...

Beach is nice, beautiful clean water so perfect for a day at the beach with bars close by to cater for lunch and a drink. Do not go to the back en of the beach were the garbage smell is terrible, next to this if you are walking with kids take the steps into mind.
