Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has developed a new tour programme for The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Visitors will be able to choose from a tailored range of three paid-for tours. The over-18s-only tours cater for all interests and budgets, from those looking for a unique behind the scenes distillery visit through to whisky enthusiasts seeking a fully immersive experience, and vary in duration from one and a half hours up to three and a half hours. Further details are below: 1. Explorer Tour (£10): a fully guided tour of the distillery and Warehouse 8, including a tutored tasting of four award winning drams. Tours from 9.30Pm - 4.00Pm Glenfiddich Solera Deconstructed (£50): a new hands-on, tailored experience with a full introduction to Glenfiddich's unique Solera system. Visitors can nose several samples and enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 cask strength 15 year old samples before recreating their very own version of Glenfiddich Solera. Two tours daily 2. New Pioneer (£95): a half-day immersive experience for whisky enthusiasts. This in-depth tour offers insight into the marrying process in Warehouse 6, and the opportunity to bottle a 20cl whisky from the Malt Master's personal selection of casks. Finally, guests enjoy a nosing and tasting masterclass in the Grant Family Home, featuring five Glenfiddich whiskies matched with appetisers. One daily tour. We are extremely proud of the fact that Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned today and all tours will continue to offer an unforgettable insight into our unique, family-run heritage. We look forward to welcoming guests to our distillery.

A beautiful tour of the distillery, and a tasting session. All conducted by great staff. We couldn't fault a thing!

The GBP 10 explorer tour was well worth the money and 1.5 hrs spent around touring the Glenfiddich facility. Our guide Emma looked young but was very knowledgable. I thoroughly enjoyed understanding the multi-layered process, asking quirky questions to which I received solid responses, and...More

We went on the De-Constructed tour which gave us a comprehensive tour of the distillery plus the opportunity to make and bottle our own whiskey at the end. Firstly, my husband and I are not fans of Whiskey but that shouldn't put you off. Who...More

Although Glenfidditch has a worldwide distribution, their whiskey is made with a personal touch. Novices as well as experienced distillery tour regulars learned a great deal about the distillery process as we visited the various buildings involved in the stages of whiskey making. We smelled...More

This tour is amazing and for a modest price. We did the basic tour which was about 90 minutes including a trading of four whiskies at the end (4 full drams more than cover you for the tour price of 10£). Glenfiddich is a great...More

Excellent afternoon tea, as we missed lunch. The scones were the best I have ever had, and the pastries were good as well... Oh yeah, we did have some whisky as well. Very tasty, of course ;-)

Dufftown, a small picturesque town in Scotland, is the home of Glenfiddich distillery - my destination for my first whiskey distillery tour. The tour, which lasted a little more than an hour, is both enlightening and fun especially for any whiskey afficionado. At the end...More

This is the most polished distillery visit I've been on. Brilliant tour, excellent cafe and shop but the grounds are a riot of colour from the beautiful flowers everywhere. Wonderful day out.

We did the 1 hour tour. Very interesting. Had been to a distillery before, but this one was explained more clearly, and history of the factory fascinating. The buildings are all well maintained and the grounds beautiful. For £10 each we had an hours tour...More

A well designed and presented tour of a very famous distillery. I can't fault the experience, planning or the product (delicious) but I haven't given it 5 because it does just lack that small sense of Scottish distillery and feels very much more factory than...More

Yes you can buy various Glenfiddich whiskeys. But all are expensive compared to malts available at other distilleries (Glenfiddich would say their's are superior). It's a question of taste and budget I guess.

No you do not have to book in advance as you can go to the distillery and arrange the tour then, sometimes you may have to wait a short time but there is a nice cafeteria to wait in, I believe that tours finish about 15.00... More
