Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch...

Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has developed a new tour programme for The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Visitors will be able to choose from a tailored range of three paid-for tours. The over-18s-only tours cater for all interests and budgets, from those looking for a unique behind the scenes distillery visit through to whisky enthusiasts seeking a fully immersive experience, and vary in duration from one and a half hours up to three and a half hours. Further details are below: 1. Explorer Tour (£10): a fully guided tour of the distillery and Warehouse 8, including a tutored tasting of four award winning drams. Tours from 9.30Pm - 4.00Pm Glenfiddich Solera Deconstructed (£50): a new hands-on, tailored experience with a full introduction to Glenfiddich's unique Solera system. Visitors can nose several samples and enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 cask strength 15 year old samples before recreating their very own version of Glenfiddich Solera. Two tours daily 2. New Pioneer (£95): a half-day immersive experience for whisky enthusiasts. This in-depth tour offers insight into the marrying process in Warehouse 6, and the opportunity to bottle a 20cl whisky from the Malt Master's personal selection of casks. Finally, guests enjoy a nosing and tasting masterclass in the Grant Family Home, featuring five Glenfiddich whiskies matched with appetisers. One daily tour. We are extremely proud of the fact that Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned today and all tours will continue to offer an unforgettable insight into our unique, family-run heritage. We look forward to welcoming guests to our distillery.

We were lucky that we were the only visitors at the time. My husband is in a wheelchair yet almost everything was accessible. The only problem he had was that some places were hard to see from a seated position. The tasting was very generous as well as instructive. We didn't get to visit the shop but we did have... More

Recently visited Glenfiddich and went on the explorers tour with my girlfriend. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. It lasted a good 90 mins and showed all parts of the process. Fantastic value for money at only £10 each. We actually went around in a wheelchair and it was a bit difficult at times as it involves... More

There are a lot of whiskey distilleries in Scotland you can visit but this one is one of the best for a tour of the art of whiskey making with its extensive and interesting history by very knowledgeable and friendly tour guides. The tour concludes with a whiskey tasting which will leave you appreciating good whiskies and how its made.... More

Great afternoon learning the history of Glenfiddich and the finer points of the magical art of whisky making. Our guide Alan was friendly, informative and knew his stuff, and the tasting and blending session was really good fun!

My wife and I visited the Glenfiddich distillery on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. We had such an amazing experience at the distillery that I wanted to ensure that I posted this for future visitors to read as it was mainly our experiences with the staff at the distillery including our tour guide that resulted in such a pleasant experience. Our... More

This is our favourite distillery, and we've visited quite a few. However, they've recently changed their free tour to £10, and we were told when we last visited that children are no longer allowed, because of "safety" although other distilleries allow this, and they managed before?! Our 9 year old son absolutely loved coming here and learning. He knows every... More

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and for £10 a 1.5 hour interesting tour plus 4 drams was well worth the money. I wouldn't even say i'm a Glenfiddich fan but the tour was well worth the trip.

This was a highlight of 5 days in Scotland. Tour was well done; we learned a lot about a scotch hubby's been drinking for over half his life. Tour group size is limited, which makes for a good tour, but potential for a wait. Good restaurant if you have to wait.

Thank Emily M
