Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch...

Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has developed a new tour programme for The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Visitors will be able to choose from a tailored range of three paid-for tours. The over-18s-only tours cater for all interests and budgets, from those looking for a unique behind the scenes distillery visit through to whisky enthusiasts seeking a fully immersive experience, and vary in duration from one and a half hours up to three and a half hours. Further details are below: 1. Explorer Tour (£10): a fully guided tour of the distillery and Warehouse 8, including a tutored tasting of four award winning drams. Tours from 9.30Pm - 4.00Pm Glenfiddich Solera Deconstructed (£50): a new hands-on, tailored experience with a full introduction to Glenfiddich's unique Solera system. Visitors can nose several samples and enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 cask strength 15 year old samples before recreating their very own version of Glenfiddich Solera. Two tours daily 2. New Pioneer (£95): a half-day immersive experience for whisky enthusiasts. This in-depth tour offers insight into the marrying process in Warehouse 6, and the opportunity to bottle a 20cl whisky from the Malt Master's personal selection of casks. Finally, guests enjoy a nosing and tasting masterclass in the Grant Family Home, featuring five Glenfiddich whiskies matched with appetisers. One daily tour. We are extremely proud of the fact that Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned today and all tours will continue to offer an unforgettable insight into our unique, family-run heritage. We look forward to welcoming guests to our distillery.

recently toured and tasted here. We were a party of 5 persons who did the Pioneer Tour that was offered at 95GBP. Was a very nice educational tour as well as the tasting choices we were sampled on. As part of the tour was able to sample from some hand picked casks and bottle a personal private bottle to take... More

Did the Pioneer tour this time. We visited in 2013 and the process hasn't altered one bit. Fergus at front desk provided excellent service and good for a chat. Our tour guide was Beth. She was a font of all knowledge and a real credit to Glenfiddich. Beth made us feel the very best of welcome and at ease straight... More

We visited on a Saturday and there was no room on the tours. I'm not sure if you can reserve space on a tour by calling ahead, but that is something to explore. We still had a good time, walking around and exploring and the film in the centre is interesting.

We arrived with no booking and was given option of the introductory video with tasting as we did not have the 1,5 hours for tour so was happy a plan could be made. The video when finally started was very informative. Afterward we went to the tasting but was told there was a function planned so left without tasting

Stopped here after booking a tour for a Saturday morning on the way to Grantown. The tour was booked with ease and received email confirmation too. Arrived on a cold morning but the reception was warm indeed. Wife and mother in law spent the time of our tour in a very warm coffee shop whilst we enjoyed the tour with... More

Lorna is someone who loves her job and a credit to the Distillery. I visited the distillery 10 years ago and was frankly underwhelmed. However, they have really pulled their socks up. Having visited in excess of 40 distillerys - this is in the top 3 for visits. Well done everyone at Glenfiddich!

I love what they have done with the place over the years. Our first visit was back in the late nineties and yet it was a mass production site. The visistor centre has been refurbished over the past time and looks very smart. At the café you can enjoy a good lunch and a dram or two. The shop however... More

Having already been to a half dozen distilleries and with just a little time, we decided not to tour Glenfiddich. However, it was worth a stop just to see and take pictures of the property which is beautifully maintained and quite luxurious. I especially liked the dual malt pagodas at the rear of the property, which was the main reason... More

After a few days of touring distilleries I wasn't upset that they rushed us through this tour. The details were lacking compared to other tours and because they are producing so much whiskey it was noisy and hard to hear the guide (who was young and inexperienced). The facilities and grounds are exquisite, beautifully maintained in a gorgeous setting a... More
