Remote castle ruins in a most beautiful setting. Well worth the short walk from the car park just outside Dufftown. We got a glorious day for our visit.

Needed some fresh air and was recommended this walk by a local. Great ruined castle that you can visit at will. Small car park at top of track.

The walk up to the Castle from the bottom of the track is inclined but do-able. There is a small car park halfway. The scenery is superb and there is real feel or remoteness.

I first visited 4 years ago and fell in love with this beautiful ruin with spectacular views. Revisited with dogs and loved it just as much
