We did the walk from the hinkerbrucke and then the alpinsteig. The walk it self was really easy going, it doesn't go up lot. Althoug you could climb to some sort of viewing point early on, but don't bother is just looks out on trees....More

The place is beautiful. Available from Schladming on foot, by bus and private car. Going to Untertal, you can admire the view of the surrounding mountains, the stream at the bottom of the valley, the animals grazing on the alpine pastures, the wonderful farmhouses. Reaching...More

Walked up to Untertal through this...back of. Schladming. Talbachweg.. Bit difficult to find but once you are on the wall amazing.frozem spectacular waterfalls . We came back in the dark which was even more spectacular with many of the snow and ice features lit up....More

You should not miss this spectacular way when you have the chance. Great experianca (also for kids). On top a beautiful lake with some nice huts. Down in untertal some great restaurants Enjoy

Great hiking start with services available. Suggest you take the bus as there is (now) a parking fee which is not covered by the Summer card.

Great, but not for small kids... I would suggest 6yrs +...amazing views, you need good outdoor shoes because wooded bridges and stairs are sometimes slippery

Schladming, Austria is an a ski area with the Dachstein glacier. There are various white water rafting, go kart, mountain biking in type activities nearby.
