Nice historical and cultural venue. There are English texts available and some people do speak English, but there is no guide as such. Worth a visit.

Pszczyna Skansen = Pszczyna Country Farmstead. If you love history, architecture and old style wooden houses you will love this place! It was first opened in 1975, so it has more than 40 years on the market and loads of visitors who come and want to experience how life was back when there was no internet/cell phones/tv/electricity...

I think that if you are visiting Pszczyna, you should see the castle, the bison sanctuary and this open museum, to have a proper understanding of the region. Zagroda is a very peaceful place, where you can see how average people lived long time ago. I liked the sound effects- especially the voice of and old lady singing and sweeping the floor while you enter one of the houses.

There was not even one guide, who would tell us a little bit more about these old wooden cottages, devices, beehives, sculptures, watermill and traditions.

In this park you can see old traditional wooden houses and items that there were used in the old days.
Each house has inside different items: items that used for cultivation, domestic items, old carriages etc.
You can see entire place in max 1 hour.
There is no english speaking guide, but there are signs in each house with informations.
Also there is a souvenir shop.

This Skansen is one of the kind- this is a place, where you can sleep better then admire things :) There is no signs or descriptions, only old, but still in good condition buildings. If you have time and you want to relax, this is the place.
