The historical Park of Pszczyna covers the area of 156 ha, including the Castle Park, Dworcowy Park as well as Wild Promenade. Within the Castle Park, among the river pools and abundant old tree stands there are numerous historic buildings and landscaping elements. Among others you can see Ludwikówka mansion, tea pavilion on the island, Chinese gate, ice cellar, shrines and arch bridges. Park has very big potential. Could be just a little better maintained.

This large natural space forms a beautiful backdrop for the Pszczyna Castle and forms part of the palace grounds. There were good formed paths with lots of lighting and seating. The grass grew wild and there were plenty of trees and lakes. There was also plenty of varied wildlife including squirrels and woodpecker. It was our kind of park as it was not all structured gardens but simply open green space. A very pleasant walk.

Beautiful and well-tended park surrounding the castle which actually formed part of its estate in the past.
If you're in the mood for history you can visit the graves of the former dukes of Pless, owners of the castle

This seems to be really very nice park by good weather conditions and not off-season...as we visited the park in March there were some snow fields around, still no flowers neither green trees around - and lot of water around....and buildings were closed, even no tourist information available.
But huge area and very cultivated and well-groomed park garden area - must be perfect in summer times withs kid and for families

Large green belt, that cuts Pszczyna town into two parts. Obviously park was associated with the castle/palace, which is still main object in area, but there's plenty more to do and see, including an open air museum, or the european bison reserve. Also great place to find peace and quiet, I believe, as our visit was somehow interrupted by mass running event, and huge chaos that accompanied runners. But any other time - I believe it's a place for relax. There's a number of long distance trails there as well, we've seen signs of red, black and yellow marks on trees, so Park in Pszczyna is absolutelly for everyone, not only for dukes, as it was at the beginning. Large car parks on Wojska Polskiego (toll) street and Żorska street (free), although completely jammed during running event, provide access for motorised tourists.

It is a very nice park. During the weekend there were some concerts, activities for children. Also there is a teahouse where you can relax. The weather was summery so the park was crowded.

The park could be still made more beautiful, but even as it is, it's a pleasant sight. A must see place when in Pszczyna.

Another interesting place in Pszczyna. You can see how the live looked like 100 years ago. Another small but nice place in this town.

Jak najbardziej można, w ciepłe dni sporo osób poleguje na parkowych trawnikach - głównie na stoku vis a vis pałacu. Nie zauważyłem, by ktoś miał coś przeciwko temu.
