We spent a week at the Iberostar Playa Pillar in Cayo Guillermo, and it was fabulous. The whole staff was very helpful and always smiling bright. We were greeted by Hector and Mercy, and they made sure we were taken care of. Berry took our bags immediately to his cart and took us to our room. Unfortunately not all of our... More

The water in most places in waist high and very warm. We took in the experience from the caterman but would have loved to have done it by taking a bus and spending some beach time there. Next time!!

Third time at polar beach. First time 2007. Nothing there but wooden hut. Was amazing. Now they have built the beach restaurant etc. Which is lovely but was far better in 2007 when not so touristy

We went to this beach as the one at our resort was not the best. We took the 9 a.m. double decker bus and the beach was not very crowded at that time so we were able to get beach chairs and a shelter for $2.00 a chair. There is a restaurant and a beach bar. We didn't eat at... More

Sand is so fine and white. Water is clear and the beach seems to last for a long time. Long pier to reach the beach but it is a sight everyone should see. Restaurant and facilities along pier. Traveled by double decker bus for $5.00 per person.

Taking walks to Playa Pilar and enjoying the water, sand and sun. Sand is like white flour and water crystal clear and shallow for a fair distance. No sea weed - just heaven!!!!

My wife and I spent almost every day of our stay at the Iberostar Playa Pilar at this beach. We walked the shores to Playa Pilar and we loved it. We didn't mind paying the $2 cuc for each beach bed as they kept the beach clean and organized. Having said that, I would like to talk about a situation... More
