We last visited in 2008 when this was idyllic. Simply a stunning beach of near Caribbean quality even if on the Atlantic , shallow blue-ish water, and a bohio lobster place. Now there's construction at both ends of the bay and many tourists. There's now...More

We visited this beach and it was fantastic. We enjoyed lunch and spent the day admiring the beach. It rained while we were there but aside from that it was really beautiful. Worth the drive to see this amazing beach.

We are thinking of booking Iberostar Playa Pilar hotel, does the hotel beach get much people traffic from the infamous Pillar Beach or are the 2 far apart from each other? Any other "should know about" comments? Thx

THe hotel beach is minimal. Not really a beach per se, just access to the water to swim and use the boats. Pillar beach is beautiful and people who go there do so as a destination.
Hi Going to cayo coco in June I want to know how far is pilar beach from cayo coco and how much is the excursion? Thank you!
