Tiyi By Design is an exclusive Caribbean brand producing exquiste, hand crafted art jewelry. Each piece is individually designed by professional metalsmith/art jeweller, Ichia Tiyi.The artist will work in the studio for the visitor to view the process live, and they can also learn to create a small piece of jewelry for themselves.

Lovely boutique jewellery shop with unique designs in silver. Run by the owner/ designer who is delightful. Great place to browse but plenty to buy items which you won’t find elsewhere.

A truly amazing designer who creates beautiful pieces of jewellery! I have had many positive comments regarding my necklace and bangle! I look forward to adding to my Tiyi collection during our next visit to Barbados! And yes the special bags do prevent tarnishing!

This young lady is quite the artisan! Each piece of jewelry is hand made and each is unique. All of the pieces are made from silver and she offers rings, earrings and necklaces...A must stop when on Barbado

Ishia - thank you for your kindless and just being there, being able to see trully magical items you create.. We both are so happy that we 'sacrificed' our 1h and half in the bus (from Oistings to S'town)... Well worth seeing ! You are an awsome trully talented lady and I simply can't wait when I put your beautifull disk necklace on my neck tonight on the Christmas Eve..
This was the best day of our holiday! We loved Sp'town (so authentic!!) and we both can't wait coming back (Chris for painting reasons, me for you).

Fun to meet the artist and see her beautiful shop. Everything is her unique design. She has a lovely sense of style. I love wearing my new necklace which is a sterling silver design! We went there because of trip advisor reviews. Her jewelry is wonderful art that you wear.

Tiyi is hard to find, but persevere...(first floor of small shopping mall)
The owner is a lovely person and very passionate about her designs.

I found Tiyi Design Art Jewelery Studio three years ago, and have been a follower ever since.
Ichia is a talented artist that creates the most unique art to wear.
I always receive compliments when I wear my necklace or earings. In fact, I am wearing both today while providing this review. I only wish I could purchase everything she makes, as they are so unique and treasured.

I found this gem on a Barbados best kept secrets list. Then came to TripAdvisor to read reviews. I agree with the other reviewers that Ichia is a beautiful soul who crafts stunning works of art (that is also jewelry). No two pieces are alike. There is no pressure to buy and you can take your time exploring all the pieces she’s has for sale. Although the shop is small, I was in there for a least an hour. I lost track of time.
I bought a few pieces and can’t wait to wear them.
It’s not far from Hole Town by bus or car. Support this local artist!

Although Speightstown itself is a little down at heel - but none the worse for that - there are a few jewels there and Ichia’s boutique shop is one of them. All the items are made by her and she is really lovely to talk to.
Don’t waste your time and money getting labelled designer stuff in Holetown - they’re still mass produced outside of the Island. Go here and support a really talented Bajan craftswoman.
