"Booze, Beats & Burgers" is the philosophy at The Old Jamm Inn, a unique bar and nightclub unlike any other in Barbados, emphasising great food and drinks, great music and most importantly, great service.Founded on the location of the former AfterDark Complex, the venue stands as the centrepiece in the rejuvenation of St. Lawrence Gap, in a return to the Gap's livelier day.Unique decor, the best in both live and DJ music and an amazing throwback atmosphere are just some of the elements that distinguish The Old Jamm Inn from any other music venue on the island.

We had a great time at Old Jammin Inn! The music and atmosphere on a Saturday night were electric. Great mix of the local crowd and tourists. $10 after 11pm. The bar is overcrowded and doesn't have a lot of options for beverages.

There are so many good restaurants down on the gap that sometimes it's difficult to pick a good one but the missus decided for soul food and I'm not one to argue!!! First signs weren't promising, the wooden chairs weren't that comfortable so we moved...More

Read a review that his place was ‘full of locals’ and ‘seedy’ so just had to check it out for myself. They were right there were actually people from Barbados here and as with most clubs you will get asked if you want some ‘weed’...More

The service here is awful, we waited for about an hour and a half for food to arrive. The food was so bland and disappointing. Perhaps it’s a good place for drinks and a night out, just don’t subject yourself to dining here.

Sorry to be so long in responding. The Old Jamm Inn isn't really the place for calypso, more rock. I can't think of anywhere locally but sure if you google it you'll find somewhere on the south coast. Good luck. Ged x
