We wanted a night out where we knew my 2 grandchildren would be welcome and safe so we decided to take in this show.
A all inclusive package of travel to and from the venue, unlimited food and drink.
The staff was very friendly and the dancers and show was very good and entertaining.

Really loved this dinner show. Good music from live band, steel drums, dancers, stilt walkers. Very enjoyable food and plenty of drinks. Attentive staff. Nothing too much trouble.
Well worth a visit for those new to Barbados and those revisiting.

Stopped in for lunch after recommendation from locals. Everyone said to try it. We had the Pineapple bowl ( jerk chicken ) and a Bajan lunch special ( chicken, macaroni pie, coleslaw and rice ), The food was excellent and the wait wasn't long but we were early for lunch. Lots of takeout going out the door while we were there. The service was what you expect on island time and the waitress was very friendly. Wish we had of heard about Flavours earlier.

We saw this show two days after seeing Harbor Lights. Both are good shows with essentially the same types of performances, except Flavours of Barbados was clearly an older crowd whereas Harbor Lights was geared towards families and young adults. Probably driven by the cost difference! Don't think Flavours was worth the high cost, and probably could've gone without it, however there were signs all over Maxwell Beach and our coordinator highly recommended it (little did we know she was also working it).
So, if you've got an extra night and and extra $80, go for it. Otherwise, if you see Harbor Lights, you're not missing anything.

On Tuesday we went to Flavours of Barbados. It was an amazing experience! Our van driver was honest and direct. The hospitality at the show was wonderful and the food and show were fantastic! We highly recommend checking it out.

The dinner show is under a dome near the beach. If you should come early, you may wait a bit until all the bus pickups arrive. You are seated right away. The service was slow to start but it was good at the end. Otherwise, I saw many get up themselves to the bar. It seems like they can offer some light entertainment while people wait rather than the DJ music. The buffet line started at 8pm. For a buffet, I thought it was pretty good, especially the BBQ ribs and chicken. Unlike other dinner shows, you can go back for more.
As for the show itself, it was just ok. There's about 8-10 dancers/singers performing. The one singer was very good. But a couple of the acts like Pirates of the Caribbean and Rihanna tribute was so-so. I suppose those were needed to cater to the very young and teen crowd. At the end, the show tries to be interactive and get the crowd on the dance floor. This idea always seems to be a struggle with any kind of show. A handful of people and kids went on the stage. This portion of the show lasted way too long. Overall, I thought it was ok except the show can be a better production.

Thank you to all the staff at Flavours of Barbados for such a wonderful evening.
We wanted to give our kids a treat during the summer vacation and they had an absolute blast!
My daughter has now decided she wants to be a dancer when she grows up and my son was so blown away by the stilt men that he's trying to make diy stilts out of anything he can get his hands on!
The vibrancy and friendliness of the dancers, servers & host made it seem like everyone in the room was part of the family.
We left with cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing so much.
The food was great and the rum punch was top notch.
Top tip: Dance like no-one is watching and you might get some prizes ;)
Highly recommended for anyone who wants a great night out!!!
Thanks again.

Flavours of Barbados is a really great dinner and show.
My experience began at the front door at the ticket both. There I met a lovely and charming young lady by the name Deborah. From there the hostesses showed us to our seats. Then there was the food, oh my what a delightful meal buffet style. Then the band with some really beautiful Caribbean music, just before the cabaret style dancers. The dancers and the stilt men mingled amongst the guests, giving the guests the opportunity to participate with the performers.Last but not least the opportunity to take pictures with the beautiful performers.
I would definitely recommend this show and dinner to all and it indeed family show.

I say surprisingly because I have been to so many of these "tourist" type shows. I was staying at the hotel next door and, as the hotel was very quiet at this time, I was offered a complimentary ticket by the Manager. While the buffet was nothing special, it was plentiful, as was the rum punch; however, I found the entertainment to be excellent - a snapshot of Bajan life over the centuries. The music and dancing were very good and the two stiltwalkers were just awesome!
