Nice place to walk and enjoy the cool sea breeze and great sights. A few restaurants and bars along the way. We stopped at a little pizza place one evening an sat and watched a Hawksbill turtle come ashore And lay her eggs.

Enjoyed walking along this Boardwalk, very clean and attractive. Amazing views and sunsets! Started at our hotel, the Soco and hope it will be extended one day.

This relatively new (2013) boardwalk is blessedly reserved for foot traffic allowing walkers and runners respite from vehicular road pollution. Following along the beach, it offer sea and some eatery menu viewing - as well as-(occasionalyl - turtles crawling ashore to lay their eggs. Also...More

This is a great place to walk/run along the beach. There are places to sit down & watch the waves crash against the rocks.

We walked down this boardwalk about twice during the sunset and it was super relaxing and the views were spectacular. Our kids enjoyed walking on the lowest path next to the rocks and watching all of the crabs.

This is a really nice, relaxing walk... beats getting sand in your shoes and you can stop and enjoy the ocean views...

It is a nice walk. Easier than in the sand. You see the beach and some crabs there. It is not great for sunset as you won't see it.

This is a great walk that takes you along the ocean for a decent distance with some scenic outlooks to stop on. It also takes you past some eye-sore buildings that need to be torn down. The only real issue with it is they don't...More

We are slightly long in the tooth and both of us were married previously but chose the boardwalk for our wedding. White sand with the waves breaking on the rocks .... perfect.

As the last answer said, it is about a 10 minute drive, or 50 minute walk, 3.9km. In the Barbados heat, I would recommend you drive or if no car, get a white van or government bus, both very cheap, either drops you off at... More

I would say it was a fair old walk to be honest especially in that heat. Get a diddly diddly bus and get off at Artsplash cafe. It starts around there.

If you're here for a cruise limited amount of time, I would skip this for sure. If you want my opinion, get yourself up to Animal Flower Cave the northern most part of Barbados it's the most beautiful place on the island in... More
