It is a beautiful boardwalk along the coast; on one side beautiful houses, buildings, restaurants; on the other side the magical Caribbean Sea. With places to sit, to get your feet in the water. If you want to avoid the sun, I would recommend to go early in the morning or near sunset, if you enjoy the sun, go for... More

The Boardwalk is a level flat path that takes you near to the beach and sea and I great place to enjoy a leisurely stroll. There are many bars and restaurants along the way when needed and also plenty of seating for rest stops

A lovely walk along the coast passing restaurants and hotels along the way. Would recommend Tapas. Beautiful photo opportunities too!

A very popular place to take a stroll or run by the sea. If u a looking for a flat place to walk this is perfect since walking in the sand or rocks can b tricky for the elderly or handicapped. Most people wish the boardwalk was a bit longer.

It's 25 years since I last visited Barbados and not surprisingly there are a few changes. The Boardwalk is one of the better changes, so much easier to stroll by the sea without getting sand in everything. I was amazed at the lack of tourist/locals in the vicinity of the Boardwalk - even the beaches seemed empty for a nice... More

A great way to get the most out of this area anytime of day or night. Goes for around about 1mile (i think), so great for exercise without getting sand in your shoes!

I don't know exactly how long the board walk is in distance but we walked it every day after our meals for the exercise

This little boardwalk is quite lovely. It's only a few blocks long but there are couple nice bars/restaurants along the way. There are benches at water's edge to watch the sunset. It's rather hard to figure out how to get to the end points, which seem to be on private property.

The boardwalk was a great way to walk into town without having to walk on the road and there were several bars and restaurants along the way

What could be more pleasant than a morning stroll along the coast in the Caribbean sunshine? The only downside is that plenty of other people, especially couples, are doing the same walk! This makes it a bit crowded on the boards in places but then I think its just a small inconvenience compared to the crowds on Blackpool promenade -... More
