I think this beach is little known to those staying outside of Pefkos. We ended up there as we had business to do in the area. Not bad, good facilities, lots of sunbeds and eerily empty on that late high season afternoon.
St Thomas Beach was my own little piece of Greek paradise. Not immediately easy to find - we found it by accident - but I instantly fell in love. Three tiny fishing boats tied up by some rocks immediately made you feel like you were...More
Stayed in pefkos for a week in July we go most years love the resort and early morning swims before breakfast sea is amazing and the beach is nice and clean and well maintained. Can't wait till next year now .
Not the most picturesque beach in the world but still very nice, especially for an early morning walk. Does seem overcrowded in parts but I assume that all depends on the time of year that you’re visiting.
This a lovely beach with plenty of space for sun worshippers. The water is warm, clean and clear, and for those who prefer to eat and drink rather than swim and take the sun, there are restaurants nearby.
Not to be missed,
Snorkeling on Pefkos beach is a must for me whilst on Rhodes. Recommend you turn left on the beach and walk past all the sunbeds till you get to some rocks, nice spot to leave your towels. Take some bread to attract the fish.
Plenty of late bars, although make sure you go on round as there are lots more along the coast.
Lindos has a really lively nightlife and a few real nightclubs. Taxis are really reasonable, regular and there are plenty.
Stayed in Pefkos in October last year and loved it so much have booked for us to stay at Pefkos Beach again on May14th. Our friends have decided to join us but have booked a fortnight going out on the 7th. What I would like to know is, are all the restaurants and bars open this early? Does the season start on 1st May. Would hate to get there and there be no atmosphere as it was fantastic in October. Thank you.

difference between Pefkos Beach Resort & Island Blue (0 Replies)
Please enlighten me. We have 5 nights at Island Blue in Pefkos in late June. Is Island Blue newer or higher end? We are three, 14 year old and mom and dad. Is there a better place to relax in Rhodes on the beach?

Hello. I expect most beaches in July with sunbeds to be busy. By moped you can get to Gennadi beach. It goes on for miles , but away from the village you will find a quiet area. On the downside it is mostly stones with patches of sand. There is another long beach @ Plimiri. Most people remain around the area near the only taverna on the beach. Very good for fish
