This was my 4th visit to Strathisla. I'll never get tired to watch this beautiful building. That it produces good whisky only increeses the experience. Strathisla holds one of the oldest licenses in Scotland. Take your time to enjoy the tasting here, it's great. This time we found the destillers edition in the shop so good a bargin that we... More

Visited Strathisla as one of three distillery tours in Scotland. This tour was probably the most rustic visit, you could really feel that it was an old manufacturing. The tasting was unfortunately not as well planned and felt rushed, the whisky tasted good though :-)

First of: The destillery looks like straight out of a fairytale. It really is georgeous. Also the the inner rooms are designed very classy with leather sofas, armchairs and a fireplace. It really looks great. Our guide was very nice, she tried to help everyone unsterstand what she was explaining and really gave an informational tour. We also got a... More

We couldn't visit the highlands without calling in at a distillery and so I picked this one out from a search on Google as it is the oldest working distillery in the Highlands and claimed to be the most picturesque. Turned out to be a good choice, it was indeed an attractive distillery with lovely gardens and it had the... More

I grew up with my father drinking Chivas Regal. I was so excited to finally get to tour his favorite distillery. We had a small group and had a wonderful experience. I especially loved the very comfortable tasting room, unlike any other we have visited, like sitting down in your fathers private lounge added it added to the overall excellent... More

Had a connoisseur visit and was very impressed with the production and even more impressed with the Royal Salute end result. Staff were very knowledgable and friendly. Can say this was the best tour from the 5 or so that I have had to date.

Very historic distillery. Our guide was a local uni student but presented well and had a good grasp on the whole process, but does not drink whisky! The tasting at the end had 4 whisky's, two blended, a grain and a 12 year old Strathisla. Would recommend this tour.

We visited the distillery on a scorching hot day. We booked a guided tour and bought two driver's packs of empty bottles to put our whisky in, as my husband was driving and I do not drink. Anna was our tour guide. She was very informative. The tour was excellent, as we were shown whisky production from start to finish.... More

Informative tour of the distillery - out guide was very clear and helped us understand everything there is to know and see about making Scottish whisky! We also got to take pictures of the equipment as well from the outside, which the other distilleries we went to did not allow. We really wanted one so we can show our friends!

3rd distillery tour of the weekend. Ross was a great guide, not a big group but the majority were from Germany. Ross guided us through the tour explaining well what went on in the various areas we were in. Never rushed us at any time and happy to answer questions if he could, as well as not answering any question... More
