This place is not easy to find nor it is a place for young children or the elderly. The walk takes up to seven hours roundtrip and it's on the slopes of a mountain. Find an experienced guide.
We planned a trip of the Arno River by bicycle this summer. We wanted to start from the spring, or Capo d'Arno. When we arrived in Stia we noticed there wasn't a single sign about Capo d'Arno. The next day we went to the office of the park service in Pratovecchio and the lady directed us to the website and gave us some general brochures about the park. She had never been to the trail and could not tell us where it started. She gave us the phone number of another office. A lady there told us we had to take the road to Passo della Calla and we would find signs along the road. She didn't sound like she had ever been there either. We asked people on the street and everyone knew the place was close but no one had bern there in recent times or ever. Finally, we contacted a guide service where we were told we should have made reservations in advance. So we took the road to Passo della Calla, where we arrived five hours later. No sign of the trail to Capo d'Arno.

Vorrei sapere da dove esattamente si parte per arrivare alla sorgente dell’Arno carrivando da stia e con un percorso facile per bambini e anziani, grazie!

Partendo ds Papiano alto dopo aver lasciato l auto . Pero con bambini e lunga. Con l associazione Amicidell Asino di Stia si puo entrare con loro in auto e parcheggiare piu vicino allasommita e poi oroseguire a piedi.nii abbiamo datto cosi con un bi bo di 6 anni,

Vorrei raggiungere capo d'arno con 2 bambini di 9 e 4 anni, da dove posso partire (parcheggio auto) e soprattutto, è fattibile?

io mi rivolgerei all'associazione Amici dell'Asino di Stia , signora MARTA, perché hanno la possibilità essendo guide ambientali di avvicinarsi con mezzi e così farei una gita con gli asini per divertire anche i bambini

Gentile responsabile,
sto organizzando il mio matrimonio il 10 ottobre 2015 in stile informale vicino Arezzo,
mi piacerebbe avere un suo preventivo per un pranzo a buffet rustico toscano -con vino- per 70-90 persone, circa 20 ospiti poi dovranno trattenersi anche per la notte, può darsi che alcuni vengano 3-4 giorni prima.
