We visited mount Etna with our guide, Giuseppe, it was a fantastic experience! We highly recommend going with a guide since he explained amazing things with detail, that only an expert would know!! Giuseppe really took care of us throughout the entire time! After the tour he took us to a wine and honey tasting!! We definitely recommend Giuseppe as the best tour guide as he is passionate and very knowledgeable!!!

it was a mega trip with our guide Giuseppe "the former pharmacist" 😉 Giuseppe was fantastic, he explained everything about Mount Etna and its history, as well as about the flora and fauna. We also learned a lot about the formation of the volcanoes and the many ridges on Etna, as well as about the history of Sicily. He also took great care of our body and well-being. Thank you dear Giuseppe for this wonderful and great day.

We spent a very informative and interesting day thanks to our guide Mario. He was very patient since we were not very well equipped for a hike on Etna. I would recommend everyone to go and explore the beauty of Etna and the history it brings.
Mario is very open and his vast knowledge was evident, which he also knew how to pass on. He's a really nice person and we would definitely go back to spend a day with him 😊

Michela and Mario were wonderful guides. They were fun, professional and engaging. We loved they picked us up at our accommodation. We did the water trekking experience on the Alcantara. I loved that we were in a very non-touristy area to explore the Alcantara. The outing entertained my 3 kids age 10-15!! It was obvious to tell they loved what they were doing and that translated in the experience.

A beautiful experience from every point of view. Mario, the Guide who accompanied us on a loop route on Mount Etna, showed great competence, attention to our needs. All with sympathy and enthusiasm that he managed to transmit to us. Outside the tourist areas. Breathtaking landscapes. We recommend it to everyone.

We had a wonderful sunset tour up to Mount Etna. Mario was fantastic. We learned a lot about the volcano, the history of the area, explored a small cave, tasted some wine and olive oil, and finished it off with a nice drink at sunset and great conversation.

At around 4pm and we thought we would do little but
to still be fascinated by this smoking mountain.
It was actually a journey through history.
Etna preserves its millionaire activity like scars on its skin with its black seas of lava and chimneys emerging from the underworld of the earth.
But the real screenwriter and director of the tour is Angelo Privitera.
Angelo is from Zafferana Etnea and knows his stuff. He constantly delighted us with his stories from the most sacred to the scientific ones but always showing in all forms the most human side of every event.
At around 10pm after the trekking, the sunset on the west side and the caves we returned to our B&B full of everything and aware after a warm hug that we had an extra friend.
Well done Angelo you are a pride for your beautiful Sicily.

Couldn't have been better! We have just had a brilliant day doing the Etna and Alacantara gorge tour with Marco (who was so knowledgeable and brilliant). We are in our 20s, fairly active, and found this day to be the perfect balance between active and restfully enjoying the beautiful landscape. We did a short hike to the lava front to begin with, then went into some caves, then a liner hike up some higher peaks on Etna. After having lunch at a trattoria, we drove to the Alacantara river/gorge where we had a great time exploring the gorge and hiking around it.
Thank you Marco for a fabulous day, we will be back for some more adventure in the future!
If you are looking for a bit more action/adventure then it might be worth looking at some of their other tours like canyoning and cycling around Etna. We will be doing this next time, now we have a sense for the landscape. Today was a brilliant day to become acquainted with the region.

An unforgettable experience: we were two couples led by the highly trained Angelo. The nature guide picked us up in Zafferana and already along the way to the cable car he began to explain to us how the plants and trees develop on Etna. Having climbed to 2500m we walked for more than half a day among lunar landscapes, lava rock, overhangs and craters (with some unexpected secrets!). Etna also gave us several ring puffs :)
Angelo was an exceptional guide: clear, helpful and patient. We didn't want to leave anymore. Warmly recommended!

Unforgettable excursion, Angelo explained to us step by step, at every point of interest along the route, the genesis and history of Etna. The Etna landscape is rich and varied: pine forests, craters, lapilli sand and caves. With this 6-hour tour you are able to cross and appreciate and understand every little detail of the landscape, aspects that, traveling independently and without a guide, it is not possible to fully grasp. Highly recommended guided experience, special thanks to Angelo, who, in addition to very interesting information and patient answers to our questions, allowed us to conclude the tour with specialties from the area.
