The views from the top are well worth the effort. It’s a surprisingly short, yet steep climb. Uneven path but good hand rails for support. We walked from the marina which was a lovely 30 minute walk, highly recommend. As you approach the ‘tour’ you...More

There is also a small display with the history of Gruissan which we found very interesting.

We climbed the tower to see our holiday accommodation (rue Hoche) from this vantage. Great free access and lots of well translated signs. Not suitable if you have issues with stairs or trouble on uneven ground though
A very short walk through the winding narrow streets, to the pathway that leads up to the ruins. A few minutes climbing the old steps, brings you to the top with a fantastic view of the city, the Mediterranean, and the marina.
