Iceland may be a tiny country, but Reykjavik visitors know that this humble island nation is teeming with natural wonders, from waterfalls and volcanoes to glaciers. Experience this natural beauty on this full-day tour from Reykjavik, where outdoor enthusiasts can trade city streets for glaciers and black lava beaches. Highlights include visiting seaside villages, exploring mountain peaks, and taking in the views of snow-capped mountains in the distance.

From the parking lot, you could already see how amazing Kirkjufell mountain is! I was pretty much mind-blown. You could admire a series of mini waterfall as you amble around it on the structured walkway. But of course, the star of the show is imperatively the mountain as the backdrop!

Wonderful view. The waterfall itself, compared to others in Iceland, may not make a great impression, but the location and proximity of the Kirkjufell mountain - this is it. It is the waterfall with an absolutely amazing scenery. Perfect place to take pictures of Kirkjufell mountain . Can be cold and windy, but it is really pretty. The surrounding scenery makes that it's worth seeing. The parking is free.

These waterfalls were a lovely surprise. They were frozen but you could see the water flowing through an icy cage. So spectacular. Be warned though it’s very very cold out there in March!

We rented Airbnb right by Kirkjufell Mountain, so we stopped by the waterfall after we checked in. We read plenty of the article about how small it is, so our expectation was adequate. However, with the GOT mountain in the background and covered in snow, I can see why this fall attracts so many folks. I was bit surprised to see about 15 people or so taking pictures with tripods and expensive camera equipment even after the sunset. Those are hardcore enthusiast right there, and I hope their pictures came out better than mine...

Stopped as part of the Wonders of Snaefellsnes tour. The falls were frozen due to the bitter cold and we walked through snow drifts to take a look from below. Magical.
