We were a party of seniors visiting.
A lovely museum with welcoming staff and volunteers.
The cafe has sandwiches and yummy cakes. We recommend sausage sandwiches and cheese scones.Get there early as the scones were all gone at 3pm.
Great place, really nice displays and very educational.
There was a really good amount if information and artefacts detailingbthe history of Ashcroft but also about the way First Nations were impacted and affected by European settlers.

On walking down the Main Street with a camera around my neck, looking like a tourist, I was advised by two locals to have a look in the museum.
I wasn't disappointed.
A very informative journey on how the town became established.
Found this place by accident. So glad we did. The historical artifacts and information amazed me for such a tiny town. There was a young teenaged boy hosting the day we went and I was impressed by his wealth of knowledge. Definitely worth the $5...More
