Beautiful Altea is a little gem in the northern half of the Costa Blanca coast. Take a step back in time in the beautiful old town with it's blue-capped church and quirky cobblestone narrow streets. Don't miss taking in the view from Mirador de los Cronistas de España, just across from the church square!

This is a very nice small old town where you can walk the narrow and clean streets full of souvenir stores, clothes and small cafes!
great views from the top and don't forget to visit the antique church to complete the remote age feelings.
Do not recommend this place for people with reduce mobility. is not suitable for wheelchairs or scooters.

Simply beautiful….!

An amazing old town area, lots of restaurants and bars. A nice Church as well.

Beautiful vibe and feel in the evenings, you could see the skyline of Altea & Albir.

Recommend…!

Whilst the old town is lovely and the views great - itv really isn’t for those with limited mobility. We understand that old towns are just that but even the basics couldn’t be accessible for limited mobility people (which one of our prey was).

Wouldn’t put you off visiting but just be aware.

Oh we got the rudest taxi driver ever that took us up to the crown but we laughed it off.

A very nice place for a walk with your beloved person or friends. Beautiful places to have coffee or drink. Good views and good food.
Tip: Visit the town in April or October. Otherwise you will get cold during winter or lost be in a crowd during the summer.

Small old town on the hill. Nice view, nice shops and restaurants. The restaurants are a bit expensive and we find a lot of italian restaurants... Delicious dessert shops.

With its narrow and steep little streets filled with restaurants and bars, as well as its remarkable cathedral built at the highest point of the city, the old town of Altea is undoubtedly the most beautiful place on the Costa Blanca. We visited it on Friday night, it was crowded and unfortunately no anti-epidemic measures were observed.

Really beautiful town which is totally worth a visit or even staying there as I liked it much more than Benidorm or Alicante, which are big cities with skyscrapers. Beach in Altea also looked much more crystal blue. Simply a place with good vibes, it should not be missed.
