I've been up there perhaps 50 times, climbing the stairs for exercise. The reward for the effort is really good: The profile of the skyscrapers in Benidorm, the beautiful bay of Albir, the light-house cliff and the towering mountain. This is a place to revisit time after time- and still find something new to view.

Mirador is a one of the attraction at the Plaza de la Iglesia, a lovely square with the church at the other end and cafes and restaurants all around. If you are in photography, be there before sundown and stay into the night, you will not regret it.

It is the perfect spot to get an overview of the town and the coast. Great views that allow you to decide where to go next. Also other viewpoints (more towards the North) nearby

A wonderful lookout area to be found in the heart of the elevated Altea Old Town. Fantastic views are on offer of the delightful Altea harbour, Albir beyond and then just after the Sierra Heladas you can comfortably see the high rise buildings that comprise the Levante area of Benidorm.
This area is also co-located to a number of bars/eateries which ooze charm and character. It really is a good way to while away an hour or so !!

The view was very nice and there were a lot of nice shops in the neighbourhood. We also liked the church and the restaurants. You can park your car outside the centre of Altea and walk to the Mirador.

This plaza has it all. Surrounded by little boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and a buzzing vibe in the evening in the summer

Check out the photographs: a small balcony that was crowded mid-week in March. Reminded me of visiting the Crown Jewels, and having to keep moving along. Same here: compouded by most available space being taken up by people taking "selfies". Really not worth the effort - especially for those who are not very fit and mobile. Please consider finding quieter locations for equally good views without the crowds: easy enough to identify from local maps

Just off the Church Square, this viewpoint gives sweeping views over the bay and the town below. If you arrive at the same time as a coach party be prepared to wait for your spot at the railings. It’s worth it though – a beautiful vista. The skyscrapers of Benidorm are visible on the horizon.

After walking up all the slopes and steps you come to the church plaza. The viewing point is just off the square where the views are excellent of the bay of Altea and even Benidorm in the distance. Easier walking down after having a beer at one of the many bars.

From this terrace you have one of the most beautiful views over the bay of Albir/Altea. Enough stairs, narrow steep street, restaurants, bars and art/souvenir shops to keep you going for a few hours.
