It was a unique experience to celebrate mass with other Catholic tourists who came from different parts of Europe. There were a few of the local regular attendees at this church. The Latin in the mass was greatly helpful in uniting all of us who speak a different language. The church did become very full in the summer so it's good to be there 5-10 mins before the mass (which starts at 11am). Every Sunday they had a different priest who was vacationing in Kos in that week. It would be nice if people take their time to say the Credo. After all, it's not a competition to see who can recite Credo the quickest. In my parish, Credo is sung so there's no sense of rushing it through. Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto: Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in sæcula sæculorum. Amen.

Beautiful setting for a mass. The priest could do with a microphone as it was difficult to hear due to the noisy birds etc. the little church was lovely and very well maintained. I specifically enjoyed being outside in the shade of the trees. Even with the noisy birds, it was still a lovely mass.

The Agnus Dei catholic church is well worth a visit, also known as the Church of the Holy Cross. The only Catholic church in Kos and served by the Franciscan community from Rhodes and visiting priests from other countries. Holy Mass is celebrated in the garden area during the summer. The church was built by the Italian soldiers during the war and there are many of them interred in the grounds. Very welcoming international community if you do visit to attend mass.

this was a return visit for Whit Sunday mass, unfortunately the damage sustained in last years earthquake is still evident and the church building is unsafe to enter. However there is a side chapel which is outside where mass is being held. The cemetery is still accessible and is well worth a visit. The parish is not at all wealthy and would be grateful for any donations that visitors could spare.

I went to this church as i looked into the 2nd world war and the killings of the italian officer's by the german soliders in kos. I also went to the place in happend. Was very interesting even tho it seems to be not very well known. The church has a nice marbel stone with the officers names on. It is a nice small church with lots of history here.

Went for Sunday mass and found it was quite small but beautiful. The walk down the county lane is the start of a wonderful experience. The cemetery is well kept and spine tingling, the church itself holds about 30 and you so easily loose yourself in its beauty.
