We parked nearby and walked up the tree lined road to the church. Sadly damaged by the earthquake and still not open, but you can take pictures through a broken window. Beautiful grave yard. Worth the visit.

Lovely walk up to this Church, a beautiful tree lined route. Sadly Church still badly damaged and closed. Sad looking around cemetery at the memorial to the Italian soliders. Very humbling and thought provoking experience

Before 1948, the Agnus Dei parochial church was located near the seafront; that impressing building was transformed in Orthodox church, a Metropolitan one (its Romanesque architecture is clearly atypical for a Greek Orthodox church). So,...More

The actual church building is derelict and mad takes place under a gazebo. If you arrive two minutes late (as I did) you sit outside. The sound of crickets means that you can't hear a word!

Went for Sunday mass and found it was quite small but beautiful. The walk down the county lane is the start of a wonderful experience. The cemetery is well kept and spine tingling, the church itself holds about 30 and you so easily loose yourself...More

Unfortunately I couldn't get inside to see the church but the walk up and the grounds were very pleasant. Some of the graves were wonderfully designed and it is well worth a visit

Walking distance from the port. Interesting church and cemetery on the left side of Eleftherias square. After visiting here, I recommend to have ice cream or desert @ Special ; the best of Kos !
