Needed more explanation about this Some said it was Asklepion and not Hippocrates Signage please in future

Opposite the harbour, in a little garden, is this pleasant statue of Hippocrates teaching. There are some good details like a snake behind him and part of the Hippocratic oath on a board. Well worth a look but doesn't take much time.

This statue to the founder of modern medicine is well worth a photograph in the course of your wanderings around Kos Town.

The detail on this statue is amazing, I particularly like the snake, part of the Caducous, a fantastic bronze.

This statue is just opposite the harbour and is well worth a look whilst visiting Kos. Nice statue of Hippocrates sitting with a family. Small park behind the statue where you can sit.

I really recommend that you visit all historical places when you vacation in Kos. It's amazing how well preserved most of these are!

This statue is not far from harbour where I sat and let the world go by. There is a small park with seating it ideal place to sit and look towards harbour. Lovely statue of Hippocrates with group.

love this statue depicts Hippocrates sitting with a family and on the side of the plinth there is the Hippocratic oath that doctors are supposed to take before starting to practice medicine
