A sunset cruise should include a sunset over the ocean, surely? We were collected from Hotel Oceanis, Kos, as an additional tour from our TUI holiday. €39 each 4 hour trip consisted of a 30 minute journey along the coast where we anchored 250 metres off shore by Kos Town. Stayed there while we got a chance to swim for 2 1/2 hours. The sun set over Kos Town???? We could have watched the same sunset from the beach??? I don't get it? A sunset cruise should be a sunset at sea, surely? Dreadfully disappointed. Felt like they wanted to save money, sail (very slowly) for 30 minutes each way, play the theme tune from Titanic and get us back on dry land. There are probably better sunset cruises, I suggest you avoid this one!

There are plenty ships that sit in the harbour at night and are looking for your business but we definitely made the right choice with this ship. I spoke to one of the guys one night and he recommended that we go on the ship on the Monday as it was a bit quieter. We booked via Whattsapp and you only have to pay when you board. It was €30 each, this included a nice lunch. You have to be at the harbour at 9.15am as the ship leaves at 9.30am. This is also good as most of the other ships don’t leave until 10am meaning that you are at the destinations first. When you board you have to make your choice for lunch which you have at a harbour side restaurants one of the islands. Lunch was very nice, the wine not so! First stop was an island was called Pserimos,a lovely wee Greek village with a beautiful sandy beach with a couple of tavernas and wee stalls etc. As previously mentioned we left before the other ships meaning we had the place to ourselves for at least 30 minutes before the other ships came in, it then got pretty busy before we departed for the next stop. Next island was Kalimnos. A bigger quite lively sea front town this time. We went to a local sponge factory then had a wee tour of the town on a wee train thing. It was quite nice to see the backstreets of the town as we probably wouldn’t have had time to walk round it. The wee train is €3 each. After the train we went to the restaurant, as mentioned the lunch was pretty good standard Greek fare. You could choose from Souvlaki, chicken, fish or omelette (think there was something else but I can’t remember) After lunch, back on board to the small uninhabited island of Plati where the ship ties up just off the island for around an hour. This allows you to dive off the ship into the absolutely beautiful Chrystal clear water of the Aegean sea. During this time there is a right party atmosphere on board with loud music and the crew having a laugh and a dance with you. It was my birthday whilst on board and everyone sung happy birthday to me and we got a few free drinks from the crew. Meant to say that there is a full bar service on board with pretty good cocktails from around €5. They do a happy hour when I think they reduced some to €3.50. The ship returns to Kos harbour at 5pm. All in all a great way to spend a day. I would highly recommend this ship and it’s crew!!!

We went on the Nikitas Cruise day trip on the 12th August 2020. Fantastic trip and the staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The ship is excellent and the last stop where you get to swim and jump off the boat is fantastic. I would highly recommend. Not as big as the other boats but that is what makes the Nikitas boat more personal. Will definitely go again.

Excellent day, so glad we chose this boat. Pedro was a brilliant host, his cocktails are amazing, all the staff were friendly and we got to see dolphins! Each part of the day is exactly the right amount of time and our kids loved jumping off the boat at the final stop in the crystal aqua sea! Very safe and enjoyable day, would highly recommned
