Pahalgam is one of the best place
to visit if you’re in Kashmir.
This tiny town is known to suck out all the stress of every visitor.
This region is famous for its coniferous forest.
What you see in Pahalgam golf course from somewhere in the valley where I trekked.
Pahalgam’s spectacular beauty makes Golf course look even more wonderful.

Caution:
No doubt Pahalgam is the beautiful place. But you cannot escape horse riding if you want to see the Pahalgam and horse riding at Pahalgam is definitely not advisable for first time horse riders. Everyday 2-3 persons are falling from the horse, which may result in serious injury.
Reason:
Pahalgam is a hilly area, the surface is very much unusual and controlling our balance on horse is a skilled job, and if you do not have any experience of horse riding, then chances of falling from the horse very high.

Beautiful view, cool & calm environment. Go there on foot and enjoy ledder revier and nice garden in the way. however ponie wala will certainely disturbe you again and again so beaware that. Overall

Pahalgam golf course, also known as Lidder valley golf course, is a beautiful place very near to central Pahalgam. It is nestled among alpine trees and with a splendid snow capped mountain view in the background. Though, one needs to be reasonable fit to walk through the course as there were not many buggies / Golf cart help. Overall a very good and relaxing place to visit.

Its a short walk from the main market along the river. It was closed due to eid but the caretaker agreed to let us in. Its one of the most beautiful places i have ever seen. 360 degree view of mountains, green landscapes, forests, water bodies...Words cant describe the beauty of this place. You can skip totally Baisaran and come here instead. Pony riders will insist that you take a pony since its far, but its manageable by foot.

Wow, what a view surrounding golf course of Pahalgam. Natural beauty is at pick. Very big n wide area.

Pahalgam is the most beautiful place in Kashmir. Do not argue.
People here was so honest & polite. No cheating.
I fell in love with this place. We just paid INR1500 for a pony ride to 3 points. Breathtaking view, worth a single cent.

This one is not much visited. But believe me one of the most scenic spots in pahalgam. It falls in laripora area where many hotels are located and is 2-3 kms from main market. Taxi from union stand is not compulsory for this spot. One can use our own srinagar hired taxi for it. If one cannot visit baisaran by horse or for old age people having problems travelling to baisaran or due to lack of time, this one is almost identical to baisaran. The ground is lush green with a small pond in between and golf course surrounded by thousands of trees. Can easily spend leisure time and feel the calmness. The place is quiet and did not see any golf activities. Instead felt it more as a tourist spot. Do check pictures attached.

It is easily the number 1 tourist destination in Kashmir. Small village, good atmosphere, beautiful combination of mountain and stream, green hills topped with snow capped peaks and adventure activities for the young. Never the less it is a peaceful & quiet place for the elderly

A must visit ... car will stop at a point in pahalgam village where the lake passes by and there is a local market...from there u need to hire a horse which will take u to 2 points ( Kashmir valley and Mini Switzerland ) .. Bargain at 600-800 per horse not more than that....Horse ride is must in pahalgam...Don't even think of skipping the horse ride...50 min ride in horse to mini Switzerland ... a great landscape view full of snow in winters and greenery and ice in summers... Very much adventurous and scary horse ride... So think before u get into it ...People scared of horses ..don't even think of attempting ...

Note : Hire Mr.Riyaz Ahmed for horse ride ... a very friendly , young person ... His horses Karan and Arjun are trustworthy ... Don't forget to mention that he was suggested by two young boys from hyderabad ,, if u are reading this and hire him ... Enjoy (Y)
