An excellent experience, so much to see. Objects made out of discarded items, all working and creating interest for adults and children. My grandson especially liked the old games available to play. In all it was a good day out and thoroughly enjoyable. Refreshments and food available too.

This is one of those fascinating places that is totally unlike anywhere else. The closest I can give as a comparison is like a mini version of the carnival of the animals at Nantes. It is essentially a series of automatons made from old household materials that are activated by a series of buttons. There are also loads of mini houses/castles/palaces you can go in, as well as lots of retro games.

We took our children, 2 and 4, and they were absolutely captivated the entire time.

The highest praise I can give is that it absolutely battered down for the entire two hours we were there and did not even mention the weather once.

Partly indoor, part outdoor. Very reasonable to get in.

Cannot recommend highly enough.

These interactive sculptures are amazing, animals roaming around, education about our environment and so much fun. It’s a brilliant museum for kids, our (8&6) daughters loved exploring. You get to press lots of buttons which make many of the sculptures move, so clever and imaginative.

We've been with our kids every time we've visited in the past 5 years. It never get's old! Lovely little attraction to spend a couple of hours, fascinating devices and very entertaining. The picturesque setting isn't half bad either! :)

An interesting afternoon. When you arrive the car park is on the opposite side of the road. You enter through the café and then pay to go in, its about €7. Once in you look at the models made of rubbish which were created by Robert Coudray. Some days you can see him working on new material. I saw the short film on him at the onsite theatre. The model buildings he's made are amazing. Great day and good weather. If your into art or models this is the place to visit.

Extremely glad we visited. Lots of mechanical sculptures operated by a button push, mostly powered through solar power. You can either just enjoy the moving sculptures or try to figure out how the moving parts interact and work.
The buildings are charmingly bizarre giving impressions of hobbies, Tim Burton, etc.

Quite extraordinary display of something that has come out of the mind, and constructive talent, or Robert Coudray, something very definitely for the kids, but also for the adults. We arrived when a school party was being allowed in, and we were also allowed to join them. With restricted time Coudray's wife said we could come back again. This time it was when a coach trip of mainly elderly people arrived - so we saw both extremes, and both fully engaged and fascinated, as were we.
The two elements of the attraction are the extraordinary fantasy buildings and the very clever mechanical exhibitions, usually made up of pieces of discarded items combined with gears, wheels, pulleys, anything to help animation.
There is also a video to watch, and as we were leaving the man himself was there to meet everyone and talk to each. He was very modest about what he had achieved.

I made the mistake of looking it up on the internet, and clicking into the google maps that was on the page. There it said they were open "TODAY from 10 - 6". When we got there they were not open and the hand written little sign on the gate said they were open from Sept. 15th - Nov. 4th, on Saturday and Sunday from 14H - 18H. So...heads up if you plan on making the trip to see this.

Absolutely brilliant and a MUST SEE. We really found it inspiring. We watch the video and it is a must see. English subtitles. The creations are wacky but individual and all working. Watch September since it only opens at 2pm to 5pm at some point in the month. Best visit all holiday.

What a surprise this was. We went with the grandparents, the 7 year old and a teenage and we all loved it! There are traditional wooden games to play, machines to activate and watch, a movie to see, buildings to sit in and a step into a fantasy world like chitty chitty bang bang! There is a cafe and a restaurant if you are thirsty or hungry too!

I would recommend this to anyone as it is curious, fascinating and inspires you to want to be more creative! If you get a chance go and have a look - you will not be disappointed!
