Said and Ahmed are absolutely lovely, highly hospitable and just amazing! Also super friendly, accommodating and interesting! I'm really glad I booked this place! The camp is located 2 kilometres outside of M'Hamid in the dunes, which is good, because it's quiet. You'll be picked up in M'Hamid and dropped back off (or they order you a Tuck Tuck to get back). You'll have your own private hut, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom is shared and basic, but perfectly good. There is even a real toilet and not a squatty, which is comfortable for westerners. The cost-benefit-ratio boggles my mind! The Wi-Fi connection is actually very good. The food is fresh and amazing. The tea is delicious, the night sky amazing and Said and Ahmed will help and assist wherever they can. You can also book a tour with them, for example to Erg Chegaga. I did that too and it was awesome! I highly recommend this place and would go back immediately!

We had a fantastic stay at Shaid and Achmed. We feld super welcome. they are very kind and hospitable. The place is like a little comune with (little) cats and dogs and a lot of friends. Its like a desert-farm. The place is near the desert village M'Hamid (20 minutes walk) but it feels like far, far, far away from everthing. That makes the place special and makes a good otherworldly experience. From the place you can make different trips to the dunes of Chegaga. Depending on your wishes you can choose your adventure. They think in solutions! When you like adventure, nature and camping than is this place the place to be! Here your mind can be blown away;) We are already planning our next visit to Morocco to stay longer at this magical place of Said and Achmed. Thanks for everything see you later, insjallah!

We stayed three days is the desert and it was so wonderful. We ate like in a palace, fire under the stars, camels and sandbord and quad at chegaga dunes. Said and his friends are great people, as they said : "there's nothing like the desert"

I would give 1 million stars if I could!!! I came here in October 2018 planning to have an extended stay for two weeks. Two weeks became three weeks became two months... and eventually it turned into the best six months of my life yet. Thank you Said, Ahmed, Mohamed, and Ohmaymuh (and many more) for changing the way I see myself and the rest of the world. Some of my favorite things about staying here: delivering a litter of kittens, attending a wild Moroccan wedding, learning to cook my own traditional Moroccan meals, becoming a sort-of-halfway-decent speaker of Moroccan-Arabic, AMAZING trips to Erg Chegaga and Erg Zeher, seeing the Milkyway every night, and of course being a part of this wonderful and caring family. I was a little apprehensive when looking for a place to stay as a solo-female traveller. I'm happy to say I felt exceptionally secure here, and had little trouble in Morocco as a whole. There's good phone connection (get an Orange SIM card). You can get almost anything you need in the village which is a 20 minute walk away. Except for breakfast, I would definitely assume that you should pay about 5€ per meal per person. You can use the kitchen, and the food in town is cheap. There's an ATM on the far side of the village (30 min walk). Said is a quiet man at first, but once he gets to know you he will open up. ;) He is incredibly insightful, clever, honest, and thoughtful. I learned so much from him. I will carry his wise words in my heart wherever I go. Inchallah I will be back in no time. :)
