Impressive statue of Ste Rita

While arriving to the entrance of Cascia, you will be surprised by the welcoming statue of Ste Rita..It's made and offered by Nayef Alwan from Lebanon..The work had been completed in one year and the rock were chosen from the Lebanese mountain- Tartej village.

A Welcome Sight Upon Entering Cascia

This HUGE statue of St. Rita is a welcome sight upon entering Cascia. Unfortunately, I was on a bus traveling into the town and was not fast enough to snap a picture of it. It is a nice (recent) addition to the town.
