The paintings are by Marie-Noelle Lapouge and the Sculptor is Patrik Castillion. When we saw the painting they were using as advertising we didn't think that we would enjoy the exhibition, but we did. The sculptures are wonderful and shiny steel and wood! The building itself is worth seeing - a huge and high ancient building and well lit to see the paintings and sculptures to the best advantage. Do go and see it - it is definitely worth stopping! The exhibition is on until August 27th. You can go through the Tourist Office to see it or take the entrance in Place Moliere.

Espace Moliere is a huge exhibition space in an old building and is extensively used as an art gallery, The exhibition we saw ended yesterday and a new one will start on 30th July. The showroom of the Pearl Noir is adjoining. It is also accessible through Agde Tourist Office. This exhibition is called "Intérieur No.1 - "La Grece antique Revisitée" and will run until 29th October. It has a fascinating, beautiful and eclectic mix of tableware, also lighting both modern and traditional in design. A selection of ceramic octopus and star fish squirm across a table! There is some jewellery too. It is hard to describe in words and really is worth a visit!
