Only Mosque in Macau
Nov 2018 • Solo
This is the only Mosque in Macau. It is located along Ramal dos Mouros next to the reservoir as well as a historic Muslim cemetery, which includes tombstones that date back multiple centuries. It is believed that these early muslims accompanied Portuguese sailors and settled in Macau from places such as Goa, India.

The mosque has been expanded and renovated in recent decades and there are future plans for additional expansion in order to cater to a growing number of Muslims living in Macau.

Friday Prayer Agenda
May 2017 • Solo
Although Dzuhur is at 12.25pm, they performed Adzan around 1pm followed by a 30 minutes lecture. The second Adzan marks the starts of the Friday Praying, the khotbah will last 3 minutes and followed by Sholat around 5 minutes. The walking distance from the Macau Ferry Terminal is 1.6km just at the other side of the reservoir in front of the Macau Ferry Terminal. If you a fast walker, you can make it for 3 pm departure schedule.

Not far from the Museum of Communications
Feb 2015 • Couples
The Macau Islamic Mosque in Macau is located on Ramal dos Mouros near the back side of the Reservoir. The building was constructed in the early 1980s and shares grounds with a historic cemetery, which includes centuries old grave markers belonging to Muslims, probably from Goa or Mumbai, who served in the Portuguese army.

Generally speaking, the mosque and cemetery are nicely located in a wooded and tranquil area in Macau. However, this is more a place of worship than a traditional attraction like what you find with the Protestant Cemetery at Camoes Square or St. Michael's Cemetery in St. Lazarus district.

In terms of sightseeing in this area of Macau, the only attraction in the area is the Museum of Communications, which you can theoretically combine with a visit a to the Macau Islamic Mosque and cemetery.
