Our main purpose in going to Venetian Hotel in Macau was not gamble in the casinos but to try the Gondola ride. We purchase the ticket for a private ride ( only our group in one gondola) for around 540mop. Though it was short ride, we enjoyed it very much. Giovanna, our gondolier serenaded us with her version 'O Sole Mio, which she sung beautifully to our delight and the delight of the spectators. It was really fun. I recommend this to family with young children because this attraction is a hit with kids.

The Venetian Hotel Macau is astonishing! More so when you see the man made mini version of the Grand canal from Venice, Italy. It reminded of Jim Carey's Truman Show when I looked at the sky and quickly realized wait! wow that is the ceiling....painted as the sky...amazing. The Gondola ride is the star attraction here, romantic couples and families queue up and wait their turn eagerly. You can get tickets at designated shops for almost 130 dollars pp (adult).
Once your turn arrives, you and your company enter the Gondola and one very talented Gondolier accompanies you.
If you thought that isn't romantic enough, well then you're in luck... The Gondolier sings beautiful romantic melodies to make it the perfect moment for you and your partner. Hug her/him a little tighter and enjoy the ride.

Catch a Gondola from Grand canal, San Luca or Marco Polo. Don't spend more than an hour here...there is a lot more to explore.

Definitely recommended for couples!
I rate this experience 4/5 !

We found the souvenir/gift shop staff selling the Gondola tickets not very helpful. They did not explain that we could pay to get a private ride. This is what we were expecting instead we ended up with a shared couples ride. Staff selling the tickets need to be briefed properly to give out correct information. The staff running the Gondola ride were lovely and explained that people selling the tickets were not working with them. We enjoyed the boat ride and being seranaded by a lady who had a lovely voice.

We took a Gondola ride at Venetian Macau in May 2019. We were 2 families consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids each.
Gondola ride is a boat ride in an artificially created canal, replica of Venice canals, in the Venetian hotel. Surrounded by various shops in the SUPER MALL on 3rd floor (or was it 1st?) it is a unique experience indeed. The artificial sky along with the talented singer makes for a memorable boat ride.
But, but, but ... 540 HKD (5,200 INR) for a 10 to 15 minute ride in a closed Mall environment, well, doesn't really qualify as value for money.
Since the maximum capacity is 6 per boat, we had no options but to take 2 boats! So, in effect it costed us 1080 HKD.
CON - the water is stagnant water and seems dirty and the canal length is quite small. There are 3 of them and we believe all three are nearly same.

The ride was interesting if one were to take a picture one may be fooled by it as the scene very much look as if we are riding the gondola in open air but it was actually inside a building. The gondola paddler was friendly nice and can sing beautifully it felt as if you are living through a show as she serenades you with your choice of song.
The price is a bit on the steep side but what isn't when you are in The Venetian, Macau.

We booked ride in advance in Klook app.
I thought at it will be activity outside the hotel - well, it wasn't.
Canals are inside, heaven above heads are painting on the ceiling. Disappointing.

There were only 2 gondolas the day we had booking, so it was quite long waiting time.
Ride was nice, but short.
Gondolier sang songs and played guitar.

Overall, it is not worth 1 hour waiting, not mention price.

Riding a gondola at the Venetian is an experience you can miss but please choose not to miss it. We were five in the group so we were given a private gondola. Our gondolier was a woman who has a beautiful voice who serenade us with her guitar all throughout the ride. It was a simple ride on the canal of the Venetian and a bit short but it was still an experience worth experiencing. It was like you’re really in Venice just with an added beautiful singing voice of the gondolier. You can have your souvenir photos after if you want a remembrance.

The gondola ride at the Venetian is something to do... u dont need to book in advance. we were there on the weekend and we bought the tickets from the shop just near the gondola entrance and had to wait for around 15 minutes for our turn.

It can seat up to 4 people.. We were 3 of us and there was a lady who was single so she was clubbed together in our gondola with us. The gondolier was a pretty lady who had a beautiful voice and sang all the way. She showed us all the pretty photo spots and even helped us take photos.

There are 3 canals u can choose from. At the end u can buy the photos, keychain or globe with your snaps on them. The photo book which has got 2 photos and access to the soft copy is for 188 HKD.

A memorable experience and very soothing and calm feeling overall. The ticket price was 128 MOP for adult and 98 MOP for kids. A little pricey but a good experience.

Can't complete your trip to Venetian or Macau without this essential part of the trip. Go for a private ride (for the family or solo), and enjoy an amazing Gondola row-boat ride with an European singing for you- this is an amazing experience that you;d remember for a long time. A must visit, and totally worth it!
